At some point the pain of the deadline becomes greater than the pain of indecision. Deadlines are the only reason I finish anything.

Guys… he’s just like us… he procrastinates JUST LIKE US!!!

To celebrate the Verdi bicentennial with people around the world, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra is offering a live broadcast, or stream, of the performance online and also in Millennium Park in downtown Chicago. Both begin at 7:30pm (CST) on October 10, 2013, 200 years to the day of Verdi’s birth.
The Millennium Park stream will be shown on a new screen in the park’s famous Jay Pritzker Pavilion. Online, the concert can be viewed live at https://CSO.org/Verdi, https://RiccardoMutiMusic.com/ and right here on Facebook .

Yannick Nézet-Séguin talking about why he loves Brahms' requiem.
This was my last run-out at Westminster, and boy do I feel honored that I was a part of this.
(He was absolutely AMAZING to work with on this performance. Plus he's really short and funny.)

Fun fact!
Since its inception in 1970, the Tanglewood Festival Chorus (the resident chorus of the Boston Symphony Orchestra) has performed Beethoven's ninth symphony 36 times. This August will be the 37th performance.
That's a lot of Ode to Joy's.

Don't judge me on the Bieber. I've been seeing him all over my newsfeed, and I pose this question.
Is it just me, or does Bieber's "Nothing Like Us" sound exactly like Monteverdi's "Pur ti miro?"

Absolutely, most definitely, and deserving of a view.
What are your thoughts on this? Primarily the attention to style and the usage of a choir?
