hmmm good question. it hits a lot of fun tropes, and there's the beauty of the medium of a simple video game where so much is up to interpretation. Like some fans can interpret their situation as enemies-to-lovers if viewing with a specific lens, while mine is super not that

It's the appeal of the loyal worshiper/god dynamic challenged by disillusionment and a crisis of faith, then learning how to (and choosing to) love on equal ground is so strong.

It's the fact that they're EXACTLY the same chained/lonely beings while being TOTAL opposites to balance it.

It's how Narinder is constantly betrayed and Lamb is constantly sacrificed and they have to do that to EACH OTHER

It's a cult leader having to unwarp their own pedestal-love for their god that is very funny to me, not to mention the whole thing of: former god teaching new god how to god while former mortal teaching a new "mortal" how to mortal. They just have so much to offer each other.

I like how a lot of fans take the god of life, god of death balance approach, i agree to the essence of that. (id incorporate that into my own stuff but my lamb is full Godhood and titles really mean nothing love and light)

#and of course theres immortality being a burden that only another immortal can understand #they have soooo much going on its keeping the remainder of my interest even tho i havent played the game in a hot sec.

Full context:

long story short lamb lost a bet kinda to shamura, they demanded lamb marry narinder, instead of doing that immediately Lamb teases his jealousy (he doesnt know he's part of the deal) by going hmm who should I pick, meanwhile it gets out Lambs looking to marry (thanks leshy), and now there's so many suitors until one of Lamb's favorites, Juni, actually tries to propose. Narinder interrupts with the request for a fight pit, he wins easily, then demands any one else who thinks they're worthy of the lamb fight him, he wins those. But the last guy is a bear, who really fucking hates Narinder, and says not nice things about Lamb. Narinder kills him. And then they get mawwied. Yaye.
