His instincts kicking in at the last moment, Spike hopped to his right to dodge the striking lighting bolt beside him. With a look of mild surprise, he addressed the char left on the ground with his eyes and then refocused on his objective, while still wary of other potential strikes.

Over there? No. His eyes shot round and round, occasionally spinning his body as well to cover more ground. Finding this guy is gonna be enough of a challenge....

"You sure you don't wanna come out to play?" he asked, putting on his confident airs yet again. "I'm not gonna kill ya, you know."

"You only want me for my fat bounty? I’m so disappointed!” Words dissolved into genuine laughter before the mage could be heard drawing a breath, moving, sighing. “Ho-hum, I’m gonna level with you here, alright, ‘cause I don’t want my head on a pole right now… that’d just get in my way. I can’t promise my eventual demise to just everyone, and somebody already pipped you to the post, Spike Spiegel.” 

There was a pause, more movement, jester bells and accessories rattling. 

"If I paid you to get off my back, would that quench your thirst for me, or does that pride of yours not allow you rest? Would it disgust you to accept pay from the very thing you are hunting? Well… that’s just too bad.” 

The bells rattled again, wildly, followed by a firm shriek. “I don’t have time to die!”

A bolt of thunder landed directly beside Spike, the air around it crackling. 

"So, if you want me to come down there you’d better start begging.”

Every single roleplayer has their own style, their writing is like a barcode. Some may use very large words some may use smaller, some might be very descriptive or some might want you to picture the scene yourself. Some might have a very strong vocabulary some might have a weak. Some may have perfect grammar and some may need some work. Some may do formatting some may not. Styles are all different but the style isn’t what makes you a good roleplayer, a good writer, what makes you a good roleplayer and writer? Are you having fun? Are you developing your character at your own pace in your own way? Are you making connections, bonds that will not break and some that may? Are you proud of yourself? If you answered yes to those questions, you are an amazing writer and if not you are still amazing and fantastic, be proud.

#I personally don't enjoy making graphic writing styles #Partially because I'm lazy #And partially because I think it'd take away from my admittedly flat style #It'd be like trying to make my writing something it isn't #And I'm cool with it as it is #OutOfBars

Ben "Big Band" Birdland towered over the young girl, his colossal figure shadowing her completely under the sun.

It was evident he wasn't in New Meridian. This place had a different air. It was less scummy, less villainous. It wasn't his home, but Big Band learned a while ago that it's best to look for the silver lining in life.

He looked down and tried to look the least menacing he could muster, but he knew that wasn't much.

"Yeah, missy, I lost my way. Know where I could find a place to hang to pick it back up?"

The white haired young woman had her back turned when she felt some one’s eyes on her from behind. Turning she saw the stranger.

"Oh hey there! Is there something I can help you with?" She asked tilting her head to the side, her silver bangs that framed her face swaying a bit. She seemed friendly by her tone and she was. She enjoyed talking to people.

Figures that the one bar Birdland chose also happened to be the most irresponsible. He was going to have to have a word with the owners about the predicament, but first, he had to deal with little Pea, who put up her fortress of stubborn resilience and planted herself near the bar.

His expression changed to that of a more solemn one, however, when she asked him the question on everyone's mind.
