Act 1:

The film opens with Mega Man (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) , a police robot designed by the brilliant scientist Dr. Thomas Light (Played by JK Simmon), patrolling the city of New York. Suddenly, two mysterious robots appear, unlike any Mega Man has ever seen. Despite their advanced technology, Mega Man is able to subdue them, but he soon meets the villainous Dr. Albert Wily (played by Jean Claude Van Damme). Wily is wearing a suit of robotic armor that makes him a formidable opponent, and Mega Man and Wily engage in an intense battle. However, Wily disappears in a blast of light, leaving Mega Man and Dr. Light to investigate the source of his powers.

Act 2:

Dr. Light and Mega Man discover that Wily is from either the future or a different reality. Dr. Light creates a device that allows Mega Man to travel to different timelines to track down Wily and stop him from taking control of the multiverse. Mega Man travels to four different timelines: a frozen over world, a smog-filled city, a cyberpunk dystopia, and a reality where buildings are decorated with human skulls. In each timeline, Mega Man faces off against different robots sent by Wily, including the Robot Masters Iceman (played by Willem Dafoe), Elecman (played by Gary Oldman), Fireman (played by Danny Trejo) and Gutsman (played by Vin Diesel).

Act 3:

Mega Man finally reaches Wily's reality and engages in an epic final showdown. Despite Wily's advanced technology and cunning, Mega Man is able to subdue him and transport him back to his own reality. Dr. Light discovers that Wily is actually a version of himself from a different reality, and that he used the same technology to create the other robots he brought with him to terrorize New York. He also learns that each of the 4 robot masters megaman fought were versions of Megaman from the different dimensions, each having been corrupted by Dr. Wily to enslave their dimension. Wily is put behind bars, and Mega Man continues his mission to protect New York City.

Epilogue:

As the film ends, Dr. Light is left grappling with the realization that he could very well end up just like Dr. Wily. He vows to use his technology for good and to prevent anything like what Wily did from ever happening again. Mega Man continues to patrol the city, ensuring that the people of New York are safe from harm. The film ends with a shot of Mega Man looking out over the city, the sun setting behind a skyscraper he is standing atop, his hair blowing in the wind.
