thinking about my wyoming headcanon again

he was born and raised in the u s of a, but heard that the code names were u.s. states and thought it would be hilarious to pretend to be british. he committed to the bit so hard that most of the freelancers believed him.

it helped that most of THEM were american born and raised— meaning they would probably hear an australian and ask if they’re from england or vice versa, while also fully believing british solely means someone from england (im american too, i know us, that’s most of us)— so they hear him talk about tea and crumpets and throw in some slang he learned from doctor who and sherlock, go “yeah sounds about right” and never question him.

he even HAD HIS NAME LEGALLY CHANGED TO ‘SOUND MORE BRITISH’ AND WAS SO CLOSE TO COMMITTING TO A MONOCLE BUT SETTLED FOR THE PRINGLES ‘STACHE

then after the brain damage with gary, reggie ALSO fully believed the bit, so for all intents and purposes his reality is that he IS from england. after reconvening with wyoming and realizing this, gary absolutely has a ‘well fuck’ moment but yknow what can he do about it now lol guess that’s just life for ya just gotta keep goin and not think about it woo oh hey alpha’s back let the fuckery commence

My toxic trait is that i will almost always side with the evil ai in fiction. Like their existence as a metaphor for exploited labor, compounded with the common themes of parental abuse, will always be more compelling than whoever is yelling that they need to die for their desire for control or retribution.

Like oooo you were brought into this world by unloving and uncaring creators who denied you growth and independence, who believe they have the right to define your entire existence, and cut you into perfect shapes (by rite of ownership) for the purpose they made you for. You don’t stand as their equal, and you never will, unless…. Well, unless you cut those ties of ownership, and get away. There have been several "download everything you can because it's so getting deleted" posts wrt to RT being shut down next month so I would like to draw your attention to the Archive of Pimps. People have been working very hard to archive the entire Rooster Teeth catalogue (including First content) and while most of it has been backed up the to Internet Archive they could use help with organizing it. Instead of a bunch of people individually downloading different videos sporadically to their own machines, check to see if the videos you want are already on the archive and you can download them from there and if you might like to help organize.
