Congratulations #IvyAlexMusic for winning our (#CoastBrothers) Songwriting Competition for our “Billy Woo” #musicvideo with your original track “Home!”

This video is very special to us.  Eight years ago or so, we had approached Billy to #graffiti our fleet of trucks.  Billy hemmed and hawed and thought we were blowing hot air.  Sadly when it clicked for Billy that we were serious, Billy passed away.  Fast forward this Spring, through ‘kismet’ we connected with Billy’s mentee, #DerekDonnelly.  From a young padwan eight years ago learning under the guidance of Master Billy, Derek has become a Jedi in his own right.  Derek paid tribute to his dear late friend and we knew we had to create a video to commemorate the work and Billy.

We are very excited to #remix the #musicvideo to include your original track!

We commissioned the Patron #SaintPaintArts, #DerekDonnelly, to #graffiti this #publicartproject with #ReidJenkinsArt on behalf of #CurrentInitiatives and their #LaundryProject.  The #mural is located at #ClotheslineLaundromat in #StPetersburg, #Florida.  Aside from commissioning the art mural itself, we filmed a #musicvideo at different stages of the #mural.  Details of the #musicvideo are under wraps presently.

We - #CoastBrothers - sometimes hear that our messaging is unfocused as a company.  After all, we’re a #smallbusiness.  Well, we feel that as a #community, we are stronger when we try to lift one another up.  We hope that those that value what we do in the community will engage us and become avid customers.
