Twitter Talk: Character Trope

I like when a series starts light hearted and dips into darkness before crawling out lighthearted again. I enjoy that shit because I feel like it’s something many people go through from adolescence into adulthood.

For example, I remember back when I was a kid I didn’t know what racism, rape, and other bad things were. I thought the world was lilies and rainbows. And that most people were good at heart.

As I got older it’s like the world that was rainbows and flowers pushed me into a cold desolate canyon with nothing but nostalgia to keep me warm.

Now, that I’m an adult out of that cavern, I see the world for what it is. There are flower fields, cliffs, caves, and flat lands. A variety of places to be in.

To make this rant simple, you go from seeing the world in black and white to seeing it in various shades of gray.

Which is basically a coming of age story.

Bringing this shit back to Wakfu...I need this for Yugo and Amalia by the end of Wakfu: the Great Wave.

If they go through hell and get nothing. I’m gonna be pissed. I need a happy ending. Real Life is hell. I don’t need bittersweet ending. I need a sweet ending. I need an escape. 😅🥲😭

When the trailer for Season 4 dropped, It was painfully obvious to everyone how much Nora's appearance had undergone a significant change from her previous design in the cancelled game she was originally from. This left me wondering why there wasn't any clear explanation provided for this alteration because it seemed (at the time) like there was no actual reason for Tot and Ankama to change her up.

But now that I keep seeing so many people talking about Nora’s old design like that, I think it’s because of that very same thing.

Many people keep saying that Nora’s old design looks a lot like Analia’s from Seasons 1 and 2. They have the same body type, they both show lots of skin, they both have the same hair bangs, they both have the same eye shape, etc.

I think her old design was meant to be used as a way to experiment their designs and see what they could do and what they weren’t able to do at the time. When the game was eventually considered as not canon to the timeline, Tot must’ve seen this as an opportunity to restart from scratch and do better for her by changing her whole design to make her stand out from any other character that could have some similarities to her.

Because of this change, she doesn’t have anything in common with Amalia and it shows. You don’t see anyone comparing these two anymore and I think that’s what Tot wanted.
