Technically, Cole's mom died not long before the beginning of the series. So like, all through the pilots and seasons 1/2, her death is still pretty fresh for him. So like?? Of COURSE hes so much more serious and mature in earlier seasons, hes GRIEVING. And the reason hes loosening up and acting goofier in later seasons is because hes finally healing

Anyway, watching Cole in earlier episodes while keeping in mind that his mom recently passed away has really altered my perspective on his characterization and i just wanna give him a hug now

Apparently, literally no one knows when the new episode is coming out, and I'm guessing even Lego itself doesn't know at this point. But my siblings watch Ninjago on Cartoon Network (I can't watch one episode per day, so I have my own methods of watching it), and CN released the 11th episode today. CN doesn't release new episodes during the weekend, so the 12th episode will be aired there on Monday. So I'm guessing the thirteenth episode will be released on Tuesday (June 21), and they'll continue from there ig...?

You know that scene where Peter Parker gets stuck under a building in Homecoming? The way he screamed and cried for help even though there wasn't anyone there to help him? That scene really reminded us that, although he has powers and all that, he's literally just kid. And I feel like Ninjago really should do a scene like that (to Lloyd or something) to remind us that the Ninja are like still teens, so they're not exactly adults...? They have so many responsibilities ever since they were kids, and people often forget they're not even grown-ups.

I also feel like that would be more appropriate to do to Lloyd because he literally was not given a chance to live out his childhood and was forced to grow up way too quickly. It would show us that he's still just a kid even after all of this.

Oh, and instead of him saving himself (because we kinda know the extent of his powers already), the other Ninja could help him to show that's he's not entirely powerful and that he still needs his (found) familyyy.
