#MondayMotivation
6 Traits You Need To Be A Motivated Person
1. Focus - your attention is in the now. Focus is the ability to draw our attention into the now and harness the power of the present moment to do something to the best of our abilities. Motivated people are able to ground themselves in the now to ignore thoughts of the past or future because they know their energy is best spent on what’s in front of them right now.
2. Goals - a goal without a date is just a fantasy. Putting timelines on our dreams is how we actually achieve them, motivated people decide what they want and aim to attain it in a defined period of time. If they don’t hit the target by the determined date they adjust their actions and set a new date - they change the goal posts, not the dream.
3. Persistence - they just keep going. Being motivated to do something means that nothing can stand in our way of achieving it. No matter how many setbacks, mistakes or hardships they endure - the motivated person keeps pushing forward in the face of adversity because they know this is how they will achieve their success.
4. Time - value it. Time is the most precious asset of a motivated person because they know they will never get more of it. They use every second of their day productively by removing distractions such as negative people, television and habits that don’t serve them - because they waste time. The more time we invest in our dreams - the more likely we are to succeed.
5. Not giving a f*ck - the only opinion that matters is your own. Motivated people are driven to succeed and this drive allows them to ignore what others say and think about them. This removes much of the distractions of the outside world and allows them to focus on the task at hand with 100% of their attention.
6. Belief - you know you have the power. Believing in ourselves is necessary to complete any task, motivated people know this and believe they can accomplish the goals they’ve set for themselves. They believe in themselves so much that when they hit obstacles in the road they look for what they can learn rather than complaining about how hard the journey is.
Invest your time in your dreams and you will succeed.
Peace & positive vibes.
