People tend to throw out the phrase "extremely specific kinks" as though that inherently implies something transgressive, but in my experience, the overwhelming majority of extremely specific kinks are so innocuous that you could see them in public and not even clock them. For every person who can only get off to having their nipples electrocuted, there are a dozen who are volcanically aroused by seeing their partner wearing one specific pair of socks.

Everytime I see that one yt short about "fixing proshippers' art" I roll my eyes.

And it's not like they are altering anything nsfw either. I've seen them censor a kid in a dress, not sexual at all mind you, by drawing pants over her knees. It's like dude... The drawing wasn't even sexual until you sexualized it...

Being pro-fiction is so -annoying- sometimes. 

Me: Having kinks is okay, and exploring that in fiction is also very okay. Writing about other dark sexual shit is usually okay too because no real people are being hurt, and it doesn't usually reflect real-life actions either. I also don't think "glorifying" sexual violence is any worse than non-sexual violence.

it's funny when antis say comshipping is an unhealthy coping mechanism because I go to therapy and I've explained my therapist the concept of shipping discourse and she thinks antis are the one with a problem. Yes there are unhealthy ways of coping with fiction at times but unless you're someone's therapist it's not your business to decide that. There are more important things to be doing than harassing strangers online because of pixels on a screen.

Comshipping or whatever isn't for everyone but for the people it works for, it works. Like yeah not everyone is going to be okay with it but for a lot of people like myself dark fiction helps us explore our traumas
