I always include them on my prayers kasi I love them so muchhhhh. They're with me whenever I feel unwanted or sad or depressed and immature! I really missed hanging out with these bunch! Here are 𝐌𝐲 𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝟏𝟎 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 film/mini series/short films I’ve seen that was released in 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎 na nasa letterboxd (10 out of 100 films I watched)
1. 𝑵𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 (Mini Series)
It’s very Irish and its very romantic, tho I’m not a fan of romance but I put this here in top of my list bc this is a different screenplay, not a cliché plot or anything.
Kasi most romance failed to show ‘intimacy’, It only shows some nakakakilig scenes but this, intimacy is all over that made me jealous and wanting to feel that intimacy. But if you’re single and horny, watch at your own risk.
2. 𝒊'𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒇 𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔
I love this film because it left us confused that makes you wanna discussed it on subreddit or with your co-self-diagnosed ceniphile after watching.
3. 𝑭𝒂𝒏 𝑮𝒊𝒓𝒍
It’s shows a lot of issues and represented it well in the screenplay and the actors, kudos to Charlie Dizon and Dir. Tonette. Anways, some issues that I sighted are “blind following” and “Men objectifying Women” that is very evident here in our country.
4. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑸𝒖𝒆𝒆𝒏𝒔 𝑮𝒂𝒎𝒃𝒊𝒕 (Mini Series)
I mean, who didn’t binge watch this? If you haven’t seen it, go ahead. It’s worth your 393 minutes. It entertained me and the screenplay, actors, directors are brilliant. Anya Taylor Joy deserves and Oscar.
5. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑰𝒏𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒏
It’s a “plumb horror from the deadly frustration of not being believed” quoted from bradpitt from letterboxd. Although it’s not great as Rose Mary’s baby but hey this one of the best thriller film released this year.
6. 𝑷𝒂𝒍𝒎 𝑺𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔
And yes, another romance, did I put this here because of ✨𝑨𝒏𝒅𝒚 𝑺𝒂𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒈 ✨? Definitely YES. I mean who doesn’t wanna stuck with him in an Endless time loop with no responsibilities?
7. 𝑶𝒏𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅
Who didn’t shed a tear?
I really want to have an animation film in my top 10, I’m really torn between 𝘚𝘰𝘶𝘭, Onward and 𝘞𝘰𝘭𝘧𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘦𝘳𝘴 and I end up choosing this because of Tom Holland, yes, I’m a Whiteman’s whore JK.
8. 𝑯𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒕𝒐𝒏
Oh yes, really wanted to see this in theatre and it’s really great that they released this and made my 2020.
9. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒂𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒇 𝑩𝒍𝒚 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒓 (Mini Series)
Oh guys, you’re all mistaken, this isn’t a horror story, it’s a love story.
10. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒐𝒚 𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒔
I’ve waited for this, an effeminate lead in a BoysLove Romance. I’m tired of seeing two masculine guy in a BL. We need to see more of this to represent the LGBTQIA+ Community
