Murphy tried not to laugh but it was hard and eventually he found himself breaking into a grin. He shook his head, his disparagement meeting denial. “I guess it’s kind of hard to picture you as the serial killer type. Also – the chain is missing from the saw.” He pointed at the machinery with a smirk. “A for effort though. More work than I put into this dumb holiday,” he said.
Harper almost scoffed, dropping the weapon (minus the chain, as Murphy had so kindly pointed out) onto the floor with a defeated sigh. "Halloween isn't 'dumb'," the blonde replied, an eyebrow raised in defiance. "But thanks-- and I could totally be a serial killer." A nervous laugh. "If I remember to put the chain in NEXT time..."

Please don’t get tired of me.
it happens every time. People lose interest in me. They get tired of me. Suddenly, they don’t bother hitting me up anymore. The conversations become shorter. They forget about me and I just become a distant memory. I wonder if it’s my fault sometimes. But then I realize that people never stay in my life. And there’s nothing I can do about it.

HALLOWEEN AU PROMPTS I REALLY WANT
muse a and muse b are college students going on vacation for the summer. they decide to go to a cabin that belongs to one of their distant family members. unbeknownst to them, there is someone living in the woods around the cabin that does not want them there. muse a and muse b find themselves being hunted and must try to escape alive without losing their sanity.
newly weds muse a and muse b move into their first real house together. unfortunately, the realtor neglected to tell the newly weds that the house was the scene of a gruesome murder (or two, or three). the murderer was never found because it was not a person, but a very unfriendly spirit/demon that does not want anyone in the house, very spoopy things ensue.
muse a and muse b are spirits stuck in the house they were killed in. they were lovers and do not want the new family living there to be in the house. they hate the way it was decorated by the new family and just want the house to themselves again. after talking about it they decide to make it their mission to scare the family out of the house in any way they possibly can. (think the couple in the murder house season of AHS)
muse a and muse b are best friends (or lovers) that have known each other since they were children. but recently, after a stint with a ouija board, muse a seems off. muse b is convinced there is something very wrong with their friend, possibly a demon possession but no one believes them and therefore ignores the issue altogether until it is too late.
