The “fujoshi” to “gay transmasc” pipeline is too prominent to be a coincidence.
A lot of these people said they “realised” they were such and such through these stories. But said stories are highly glorified (and sexual) depictions of romance and masculinity.
Come on now.
A lot of heterosexual East Asian woman (specifically them because mono-ethnic society) indulge in BL/ Yaoi as a form of resistance, coupled with frustration of their society being highly traditional.
On the other hand, more women in western countries (and countries with more freedom and flexibility to access online western spaces) who indulge in the same things do not identity as “heterosexual”. A lot of fans are also queer in some way, be it in their sexuality or gender.
My assumption is that a westernized/ liberalised society allows people to go a step forward and be more free with their identity, hence why the difference in more female fujoshis being bisexual, gay, trans, etc.

What is it with people assuming a character’s sexuality based on their actions and behaviour?
Isn’t that… stereotyping? Isn’t that… homophobic?

I usually don’t mind lgbt rep in new shows if they’re done well (owl house), but changing sum up from a long running series like ninjago… god damn it’s so obvious. Oh and have I mentioned the rapunzel controversy lmao
Anyways in general can be stop having romantic subplots theyre done horridly like 99% of the time.

“Why do you care so much about what other people do with their bodies hUh? Triggered much?”
No actually. I enjoy discussing and analysing the reasons behind this social issue. The concept of gender identity, after all, hasn’t been a widely known topic until recently.
It’s one of the biggest things happening around me, especially because of who I am.
Is it wrong for me to express my opinions? “Triggered”, and many other synonyms of “angry”, have been thrown around so much that they lose their meaning. This takes me like max 10 minutes of my free time to type up. I can assure you that college occupies majority of my day, not being pissed on the internet for zero clout.

Let’s be real and put our thinking caps on.
No pervert would undergo transition just to be a fucking pervert, unless they have autogynephilia. And even so most with that fetish just cross dress.
So even though I disagree with the notion that just cuz you identity in some way you can enter the other bathroom, I think it’s a straw man that being “transgender” is a legal loophole to be a predator.

I love how everything related to disliking the “trans experience” is fucking considered transphobic lmao.
I just saw a post on r/writers from this person asking whether it’s possible to poison someone with hormones since they want to make a crime story.
Then the comments were all like: “wow transphobic”.
BRO WHAT. HOW???
Just because transition here is portrayed negatively doesn’t mean it’s transphobic you empty brained cunts.
Like how you can portray a flawed POC. That’s not racist.
If anything it’s FOR transsexualism because it shows the effects of body dysphoria and dysmorphia.
It’s the same issue as when those transtards told me that I was ignorantly cis and transphobic for writing a character as hating themselves so much due to the “tranny” label that had been used against him all their life. Because he knows he’s more than just a “tranny”. And wow I’m transphobic for that? Really? Funny enough, the person who asked the hormones thing also got called “cis” and to “stay in their lane”.
This is why I give up and willingly just say I’m transphobic. It means fuck all.

If you introduce a character and the first few things you say about them include their race/ sexuality then maybe rework their character lol.
Totally not dissing on dead end again.
Also not to be a hateful downer and mindless pissy bitch but this indie studio is creating an animated series and while good for them for being able to do it, I honestly don’t see this indie animated show achieving any sort of commercial success.

Everyone has some sort of neurodivergence, to varying degrees.
It’s only a disorder when it significantly impacts your life.
Self diagnosed autistics I’m talking about you. Being a little social awkward and unable to understand social cues doesn’t make you autistic.
Similarly stop telling me I’m autistic just because I shut myself in and lost my social skills.

Gender ideology nowadays is about how you want society to perceive you. Most of the time, it’s rooted in how you are uncomfortable with the preconceived ideas of the sex you’re born with.
That’s wildly different than transsexualism. So can we please stop treating it the same? I don’t give a flying fuck how the above problem is solved. Yay you’re a he/ they/ it whiny bitch who cares. But we are fundamentally not the same.

If you’re “asexual” due to trauma you’re not asexual.
Sexuality is hardwired.
