That's a theory on the bandages I can fully get behind!

I mean sure, they might be broke, but if I had cursed arms and owned more than 1 shirt/pants, I would've DIY-ed a pair. Wearing the bandages out of habit seems more plausible; when there's no logical reason - there's always the "human factor" reason👍

Additionally, there's the thing of bandages being very thin and breathable - in the humidity it's best not to "marinate" in stuffy gloves 24/7, also the thinness would allow them maximum possible tactile perceptibility. I think that's probably the main reason why/closest to canon - so they can "feel" better when they touch.

Ok, I've seen some people call the mc for using bandages for wrapping their hands instead of just wearing gloves. But I was thinking about it, and I bet it was kind of practical actually. Maybe not as much as an adult. But as a kid? Wrapping your hands sounds way more practical then finding a new pair of elbow length gloves every time mc outgrew them, which would have been frequent for a while there. Now I bet it's just habit.

PS: We need more people to talk about the fact he most likely SAVED MC!!! Like - he's waiting for them at the Seaspring, isn't that curious about their hands, has been following them around town all day through the groupmind AND the clinic LITERALLY SMELLS like him when they wake up!

I've talked about it before, but he probably helped save Mhin and MC both: they both got symbolic nicknames, and he seemingly insists wants to connect with both of them and build a friendship - he's looking out for them from the shadows since he probably has a soft spot for them because he saved them.

This makes me wonder what the dynamic between Ais and MC is supposed to be.

Ais said he found the nickname "Sparrow" to be more fitting.

Clearly the Sparrow is supposed to represent some form of remaining positive and persevering in the face of adversity. Perhaps this relates to keeping Ais grounded; maybe even helping him keep control of himself.

MC is a source of hope for Ais?

And if a Sparrow visits you, in many cultures it means protection and good luck.

Ais saw something in you that made him view you as that symbol. A symbol of good luck at the very least, and seeing how low his luck is, we can confirm he certainly needs it.

Now maybe, even if MC's luck isn't as good as it could be, MC is still luckier than anyone else there. MC lucks up a lot, and based on the implications that Ais brought MC to Kuras' clinic, he probably knows that. That's why he called them Sparrow. They were lucky enough to survive.

And if MC stays with him and chooses to help him, that would make MC his protective charm against Ocudeus and the Seaspring in a way, keeping him from losing himself. He has something else to focus on now, and someone to help him, and probably someone to return the favor for.

It has four protagonists, if i would describe them in a couple of words we would have:

1.Oleander(no i did not make this up ts fans this is literally his name): ooeeh rich rich man 😜

2.Cirrus: ah yes im just a humble priest with nothing suspicious about me yeah no absolutely not

3.Keir: sorry for lowkey kidnapping you, anyway ure kinda cool u wanna work for me 😊

4.Francesco(i thought his name was espresso when i started playing): the indomitable human spirit always wins! *gets stabbed*

the game currently has one chapter out and four routes with the protagonists, i would say the average play time is about 1 hour and 30 minutes? it depends on the person playing... ANYWAY uhm, i would really apreciate if you guys showed this game some love, i love love love love LOVEEE it and more people should know about it.
