I’m having a pretty amazing snake mom moment! This is her first ever flawless shed!! I have spent time with her almost every day these past couple weeks and she didn’t show a single sign of shedding. No blue eyes, no foggy scales... I went to swap her tanks so I could feed her tonight and she was laying on this pile of skin and I was just kinda confused at first. She didn’t have a single flake of skin stuck on her and she is sooooo colorful and smooth right now 😻 ps she did eat her food too!

I have to admit

I’m not the worlds best snek mom :/ we moved into a loft and haven’t the space for Mia’s tank in the bedroom quite yet so she is downstairs on a dresser we are trying to sell. But... we also have a fat, annoying cat child. He was really good about leaving her alone for so so long and now he’s just been awful rotten so he’s earned himself a bedroom in the downstairs bathroom at night until we can get her moved. 😪 I cannot wait to have her up in the bedroom on a fancy table. As for the cat... 4 years of putting up with him. He deserves this.

P.s. the cat is not in the bedroom at night because the dog is in there and if the cat gets on he bed then so will he and it’d be fine if the dog could lay still for 2 seconds but he flails like a kangaroo. I run a zoo.
