I think it would’ve been funny if Duke thought his powers were normal and akin to unfocusing your eyes on command.

Like someone comments on his insane reaction time and he’s like “yeah, it helps when you do the blurry thing.” And everyone is like “??? :) what the fuck do you mean???”

“You know, the thing were you see a little blur of where somethings going to be? But sometimes you get a migraine if you do it too much.”

He thinks everyone is fucking with him until Bruce AND Alfred both confirm that that’s definitely not normal. So Duke accidentally outs himself as metahuman.

And the following weeks, Duke struggles with what’s normal and not normal. The biggest shock is his night vision, because like the average joe, it takes a few moments for his eyes to adjust to the dark. But when his adjust, it’s like daylight. He just thought that night vision goggles were when you needed to see shit in the dark instantly.

Idk, he’s just so cool. I love him.

No because teruhashis thoughts reflecting how she always is thinking of other people really shows girlhood. Never having a moments peace because you’re always thinking of how you’re perceived.

Teruhashi Kokomi is my comfort character because she encompasses such an important part of girlhood. Always feeling like you’re performing a part in order to make sure everyone likes you. You have to always act as the perfect pretty girl, and everyone has to think that you aren’t acting. Even when we’re alone, girls feel the need to act as if they are being watched in order to continue a veneer of perfection. I don’t know how to explain it but Teruhashi gets it and that’s so girl of her.
