Hi there. My name is Dave, I’m 18, jobless, trans, and mentally ill. Right now, I’m living in an abusive household with my father, step mother, and brother. My father has been abusive towards me for years— since he and my mother got a divorce. It started off purely verbal, directed at myself and my brother, but soon escilated into sexual abuse, directed only at me.  Being trapped in a household with my abuser has only caused my mental health to downslide, and I feel like I get worse and worse daily. I need to get out of this house, now. 

Luckily for me, I have a friend living in downtown Phoenix who has offered to let me move in. The downside to this is that I won’t be able to afford my medication, my phone bill, internet, clothes, food, or rent, since I don’t have a job. As of now, I am working very very hard to FIND a job, but it hasn’t exactly been easy. This is why I ask for help. I am a person who has attempted suicide numerous times and is trapped in a bad situation— I have a way out! But I don’t have the financial means to achieve this goal quite yet. I know it’s a lot to ask of strangers, but if you can help, I’ll try to offer you something in return. I can write very well, and I’m willing to do anything from poetry and stories to homework (seriously), I’ve also got a little bit of drawing ability (though, not really), and I can draw you something, if you’d like.  Any amount helps.
