i love rain. i love it when it drizzles and there's little pitter-patter on my window. i love when it's such heavy rain to the point i can't see anything outside. i love when it makes puddles. i love the sky right before and after it rains, when it's cloudy and it looks like it's out of a fantasy book and the smell of rain is still lingering. i love thunderstorms too. when there's lightning and it randomly lights up my room at night. i love absolutely everything about rain.

⋅𖥔⋅ eddie sometimes misinterprets his own strength, he’s not the most muscley and large guy around, but he is tall and broad and forgets that sometimes he can get quite clumsy with his placement.

⋅𖥔⋅ he tends to play fight with you a lot, whenever you tease him and you’re both making fun of each other ends with him tickling you and starting a playful war between the pair.

⋅𖥔⋅ eddie’s trying to dodge your hands which push at him while tickling your sides, his legs straddling you to the ground while his wide grin emits laughter from the scene in front of him, clearly amused and proud of himself.

⋅𖥔⋅ but when moving his hand from your hip to push your extracting hand, he does it with quite a heavy force and misses your limb completely, the back of his hand meeting your jaw with a loud thump.

⋅𖥔⋅ suddenly, everything stops.

⋅𖥔⋅ you pull your hands away to cradle your jaw with a small ‘ouch’ while eddie just stares down, eyes wide and clearly mortified with himself.

⋅𖥔⋅ he’s quiet at first but once he processes what happens, watching your slightly disheartened expression, eddie is a complete and utter mess.

⋅𖥔⋅ moving your hands to hold your jaw while apologising profusely, upset with himself as he tries to see if there’s any defined marks. it stings a little but nothing major, but eddie doesn’t listen when you tell him that.

⋅𖥔⋅ you can almost hear his mind reeling as his eyes scan over your lower face, fingers fumbling and hesitate around your skin in fear he hurts you again.

⋅𖥔⋅ and you can see the teary eyes, welling up and threatening release when he plays back the scenario in his head.

⋅𖥔⋅ he doesn’t stop apologising, horrified with himself and saying he’ll never do it again.

⋅𖥔⋅ “eds, it was an accident, i know you didn’t mean it.”

⋅𖥔⋅ falling tears as he shakes his head, refusing your words. it was an accident and he didn’t mean it, but he’s still angry with himself for getting carried away and making a stupid action which resulted in accidentally hitting you.

⋅𖥔⋅ it results in you resting against the couch, eddie lifting you there as if you can’t move and have hurt your legs and props pillows behind your back while he insists on making you some tea and offers an ice pack for your jaw.

⋅𖥔⋅ “i promise it’s okay, doesn’t even hurt anymore, eds,” but he’s fluffing the pillows and ushering blankets over your frame as he tries to coddle you the rest of the day as an apology and to make sure you’re alright.

⋅𖥔⋅ cuddles on the couch as he kisses the spot he hurt, not paying attention to the tv as you try to quiet him from mumbling more apologies, assuring him that everything’s fine but he is ever the dramatic boy and will go lengths to show he’s sorry and that he didn’t mean it.

⋅𖥔⋅ you mean the world to him, so he’ll treat you as such.

"steve is so stupid lol" yeah? YEAH? everyone loves talking about how robin deciphered the russian code but if steve hadn't recognized the 'daisy bell' song from the coin operated toy horse, robin and dustin would've still thought that the transmission was from russia or something. robin asks "maybe they have horses like that in russia?" and steve immediately says "'indiana flyer'? i don't think so." so just because steve harrington, who was a popular jock for the majority of his school years, doesn't understand the nerdy/geeky references the party makes, it doesn't make him stupid.
