I talked with my students about Instructional Art today. Everyone wrote out a list of all kinds of instructions, cut them up and took turns drawing one. It was up to the artist to interpret each instruction given. We would complete one and draw the next until it was time to stop. It has been about a year since I cut off all commissions. I was teaching so much and my personal work had started to take a hard back seat to everything else. This is one that I have been wanting to work on and never felt in my stride enough to work on it.
