really love dynamics that are like 'it honestly doesn't matter if you view them as romantic or platonic, the point is that they love each other. the type of love is inconsequential, all that matters is that it's there'. gotta be one of my favorite genders.

I can’t get how some english speakers substitute ”have” with ” of” in some phrases. like I’m sorry, do you not understand the words in the language you speak?

Honestly I disagree that this is an oversight on the writers' part. How often do we misinterpret history even though we all have a computer in our pockets 24/7. I took this as a willful ignorance on his part, that the lie was more interesting than the actual history. Plus, ghouls aren't allowed in Diamond City. It's likely he's never left the protected walls. Just because Sole Survivor travels all across the Commonwealth, doesn't mean the average wastelander is as well traveled and learned. Plus, he could've made it all up himself in order to sell his goods. Baseball is obsolete, so who would want to buy something solely because it was once used for a sport? That wouldn't sell. He had to reimagine pre-war items for post-war functions and possibly decided to rewrite history of said items for sensationalism. After all, how many wastelanders would actually know he was lying?

Todd Howard’s brain is equal parts American idolatry, stupidity, and a pathological need to lie

i hate when ppl act like the only reason to not like a "sad" ending is because you can't take it or whatever. personally as a tragedy enjoyer, i hate a poorly written ending. i hate an ending that is just kind of a bummer. i hate an ending that feels mean-spirited to the audience. i hate an ending that's redundant. i love a sad ending that is thematically consistent, poignant, and bespoke to the rest of its narrative.

i think that killing a dragon should have catastrophic nuclear-fallout level environmental consequences tbh. their blood should scorch and wither the earth with fire and poison, the toxic fumes released as they decay should choke the land and all nearby living creatures, and the entire landscape where they fell should be transformed into a blighted wasteland where bleached leviathan bones loom upwards out of the ground as a warning that can be seen from miles away, the boundary markers of an exclusion zone.
