Less than 2 days remaining!!!

Moataz @moatazart, Mariam, and Maria have less than 2 days on their fundraiser. They have met their prior goal for securing housing, but still require funds to purchase a computer so Moataz can work from Egypt. They don’t know how long they will be in Egypt, and they will need to find steady income in order to remain secure.

We are VERY close to the goal! The progress has been incredible, I know we can meet the goal! Please reblog this post and repost the link to your own social media accounts!

Reblog the fundraisers you mfs!!!!! I don't know why you all skip those to reblog some pic of a banner saying "FREE PALESTINE" or of news from Columbia University! Literally these people from Gaza have made an account on Tumblr and is writing in english to communicate what they need and you all are coming onto my blog or on the tag and not reblogging their posts. We have people both Palestinian and non Palestinian vetting the fundraisers! I mean more the reblogs, more the chance of the fundraisers gaining momemtum, the more there would be a chance of a donation. Please donate if you can and reblog!!! and follow them if it is possible.

@/mohammedayesh has posted getting leaflets telling them to evacuate Rafah. They are very low on funds. Go follow them and reblog their posts and donate if possible.

We have @/haneenatya too whose mother is suffering from eye stroke and need to evacuate. Please I have been following them for some days and it doesn't seem their own posts are getting much attention.

Feast upon my small collection of dumb German superstitions my mum has because they‘re hilarious

Hände begucken gibt Ärger (looking at specifically the entire palm of your hand brings trouble)

Von rechts nach links Glück bringt‘s, von links nach rechts bringt‘s Pech (if a black cat is walking across the road from right to left you get good luck but from left to right brings bad luck)

Einer kommt und einer geht (if too many children in a family are born someone‘s gonna die, at least that‘s how my mum uses it)

Washing clothes between Christmas and New Year isn‘t allowed, so much as looking at the washing machine wrong from the 24.12 to the 01.01 might as well kill you

Gifting someone shoes is a big no-no

Putting shoes (even if they‘re completely clean and freshly bought) on tables isn‘t allowed

If you put your hand in someone else‘s pocket, even when they‘re not wearing the piece of clothing, you will get a tooth ache (my step dad refused to check my brother‘s pant pocket for his phone (cause the kid TOLD HIM TO LOOK FOR IT) once and just chugged the thing into the washing machine and you best bet that phone was still in there and did a few minutes in there before my brother realised it had been in there and got it out)

If a pregnant person walks under a ladder the baby will just straight up perish

Breaking a mirror brings seven years of bad luck but if you don‘t sweep up the shards it gets reduced to seven hours (probably because the „Scherben bringen Glück“ (shards bring good luck) cancels out the bad luck from the mirror or some stupid shit)
