So, I didn't want only draw him with a skirt and staff, so here my Magical Girl AU!

Here I'll explain the world ヽ(*´□`)ﾉﾞ

Destruction and creation are elements that the universe needs to survive, since the other elements come from there and the world is sustained from those elements.

They are complements, without one the other does not exist or cannot exist, without a creation the destruction cannot put an end to that something, and if the destruction does not put an end to that something the creation cannot make a new something, and so on in a cycle.

Although they are two extremes, this does not mean that one is good and the other is bad, they are simply two sides of a coin that can perfectly go to war or disagreement over the ideals that each carrier or each element carries, but it is true that destruction may have a predisposition to questionable morals according to our current ethics, but perfectly creation can fall for extremist ideals in the world and easy to believe that a utopia is better.

How the world of carriers and elements works then is simple. There are no elements passed down generation after generation except for destruction and creation, and even these can skip a generation or be lost for generations, with this in mind, Wu and Garmadon are not the only ones apart from the FMS (First Master of Spinjitzu). and Lloyd in their bloodline, have been centuries upon centuries of wielders/masters of creation and destruction.

The other elements simply look for a new carrier when the previous one dies and those who have the job of finding these new carriers are the same masters of creation and destruction, they do it with the help of a magic compass.

There are elements derived from creation and others from destruction, each one has its own devices that only work if they are in use by the carriers of the respective elements and that is how they can be transformed and that is how these compasses also work.

Lloyd's element is something new, since it is one derived from creation and destruction unlike the others that are only derived from one of them, and it can be seen simply as "life" or "energy" (if we go to physics the Energy cannot be created or destroyed-). Wu finds out through a prophecy found by Misako, who btw works with him and is divorced from Garmadon.

The elements derived from creation: Fire, Ice, Lightning and Earth.

The elements derived from destruction: Water, Wind, Amber and one that is not very clear yet.

The first one is set after rescue mission for Lloyd. I headcanon that Lloyd painted ribs on his hoodie after Garmadon went away for a while. While Garmadon really didn't want his son to follow in his footsteps, he's still really touched.

The last two are set precanon. I have an older piece that explains more detail about this time period between the two. Quick summary, Garmadon was pretty present in Lloyd's early life, either through shadows or sending his skeleton army to pick up his son on the weekends. But for a reason, he sadly had to stop communications with Lloyd for an unknown time. But let's not think of that now, look at the happy evil boys!
