he raises his shoulders into what’s almost a shrug , a slightly amused expression all over his face as browning eyes meet those that look back at him , the hints of a small smile . “ that was the old me , if the rumour mill is churnin’ then you’ll know this is everett andrews two-point-zero stood in front of you , my man , “ he lets a small laugh tumble free , running a hand through brown hair streaked with blonde . “ back up ? me ? i don’t have that function but you gotta tell me your name anyways . otherwise i’ll find it out on my own and keep bugging you . ”

can immediately sense the differing demeanors between them , only fascinating him more . “ so you’re spitting out google facts all day ? interesting .. ” male thrives off getting a rise out of people , serves absolutely no different in this newfound environment , femme easily being his newest target . “ course i’m not threatening , with this baby face ? not possible , ” head shakes as smile manages to work itself onto pink - tinted lips , revealing pearly whites in the process , “ almost as impossible as me saying something nice , so that’s awkward ! ” head turns momentarily to the direction of her classroom before diverting back to her , eyes taking a second to study woman’s features , “ ah , okay .. good luck . don’t pass out . ”

he couldn’t help but roll his eyes at the other, he hated people that acted like he was acting just now honestly. “well, i am, it’s not like we can just recast the whole show because you can’t handle being in the background with everyone else.” he admitted, he figured the guy was new since he hasn’t seen him around before, but he was already certain the two of them were going to bump heads a ton. “everyone has a tree face honestly. haven’t you heard the saying there are no small roles, only small actors?”
arms fold across his chest as sheer disappoint runs across male’s features , not tending to rejection well . at all . “ i mean , you technically could , but you clearly don’t recognize a good thing when its in front of you . ” wouldn’t necessarily be the one to cause a scene though his class doesn’t start until another hour .. this will do . besides , newest objective was simple : prove you’re more than tree material . “ of course i’ve heard of it , that’s like the most generic line . you’re about to make me burst into song and full choreo , man , and i really don’t wanna do that . ”

the story begins with hector & valentina castillo , awaiting the arrival of their first born .. dominik . five months wasn’t necessarily deemed as safe , but valentina was well aware that her precious baby boy would survive . and he did . thankfully , being a survivor was embedded in him since birth . things immediately took a dive for a worst when he was six years old . with a mother dealing with her newfound illness to a lackluster of a father figure , the young boy was forced to actually gear into survival mode once more .
school lunches would be enough to hold him while he traveled back from home from school , only to place his priorities on the backburner for the one he loved . his mother’s health , as well as his mental health , fluctuated up & down ( having extremely high ups & devastating amounts of lows ) , yet he never gave up . he did it for her . as if elementary school wasn’t already hard enough on its own , the horror stories surrounding middle & high school were just as true . bullies constantly tormented the male for any simple reason , friends quickly became enemies & the entire experience grew to be something that he could live without .
although , there was an upside . staying around in school served as a proper distraction to the emotions that the boy was facing back at home . no matter how much dominik tried to suppress emotions on the matter , there was no backing down from the truth . the boy was growing heartless . his need for others crashed , along with his dwindling social life , leaving tons of room for the male to find himself . besides , wasn’t that what high school was all about ?
( drugs tw ) the remainder of high school was shifted specifically on that , experimenting . leading to grades slipping , more academic probation than desired , dabbing into unknown substances , and a reputation of a male who lost everything practically overnight . the addition of college into his life was surprising after sudden outbursts , sure , but it had been something his mother & him always talked about . it was the least he owed her .
( death tw ) time caught up to dominik eventually , snatching the only person he’s convinced every truly understood him . leaves him with an abundance of issues , more than male likes to admit , though would go the very depths of hell to keep it concealed . there simply wasn’t time to lose his cool . not again . not with this opportunity . do it for her , he’ll repeat it a million times over in his mind .. what else was there to do ?
in a nutshell , the male finds himself entering the program , steadily picking up the pieces after his heart - shattering loss . urges to find a distraction whether it be his school work , classmates , nights he won’t remember , the sights . if everything falls through , which he’s sure an overly .. playful ( asshole ) demeanor will get him far with others , male can fall back on his love for photography . reason why his heart continues to beat , fascination with capturing #the moment , invoking emotion through the lenses , people to feel something when they see his work !
