Cryptid of the Day: Placerville Gopher

Description: On June 26th, 1914, the Morning Union ran a story of a large rodent like animal killed in Placerville, California. It resembled a gopher, though it was the size of a large cat, and had a bushy tail. Naturalists guessed it was some sort of hybrid animal

This is how I imagine people will live in a recovering post apocalyptic world. Having technology and remnants from before the great crash, but living a more practical life, living off the land and livestock, and overall not being tied down to money or screens.

Mongolians are cool because they’ve merged their traditional and modern ways of life so rather than having poverty due to losing all their important skills they just live in their yurts with their cows and 827474874mbs internet

Cryptid of the Day: Queen of Sheba’s Gazelle 

Description: Queen of Sheba’s Gazelle was a species that went extinct since 1951, however, a photo taken in 1985 allegedly shows the gazelles in a private collection in Qatar. However, it is uncertain if these were truly the extinct species, leaving the status unchanged

I have a similar thing, except it that I’ll somehow scratch open a scab I had no clue was on my head, and suddenly my hand and hair are a bloody mess.

Best known as the wife of Abe Lincoln, Mary Todd’s past as a bandit in the American West prior to her marriage to the president is often hidden away and suppressed to showcase her puritan-approved married life.

Seen here at the Siege of Thunderdome in 1830s Nevada, Mary killed seven sheriffs to steal the fabled gold of John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt with her band of sisters, all of whom were literally her sisters. In the end she proved impossible to catch, so Abe married her to join their empires. She and her siblings proved critical in the civil war, destroying numerous Confederate forts, kidnapping Confederate President Jeff Davidson, and burning the South’s entire supply of gingham fabric.

Though she remained more quiet during Abe’s life, her spirit couldn’t be held down after his assassination, upon which she tackled John Wilkes Booth, ripped out his eyes and testicles, and ate his entire trachea on the spot. They won’t teach this is American History class of course, but the photo shows her true vibrant spirit.

Description: In Sept 2010, multiple people saw a strange creature in Busan, South Korea. Called the Jangsan Beom, it is described as white-furred, long fore arms, and short hind legs, and can make a noise that sounds like a person screaming. Some think it is an undiscovered tiger species

Always love it when I come across something that is essentially a crossover that have I dubbed “Bocchi no Ko”.

Be it a post like this, well edited photoshopped videos depicting characters from one series being in the other, or even just amv mashups where it’s just the OP & ED of one show, but with the characters of the other series.
