Dankzilla American Style Red IPA

Inb4, “ZOMFG IF YOU DIDn’t like it why are you drinking it again?!”in regards to my previous post. If I kill it off now, then I won’t have to suffer through more later. I will drink something else next post, promise.

So I just finished Devil Lady Episode 12, where it finishes off with...

SPOILER IN CASE YOU HAVEN’T WATCHED THIS ANIME!!!!!

So first off I am impressed you know of this older-ish anime. Kudos to you. Back to what I was saying above....

Jason Bates kissing Lan Asuka. First off, if you know the ending, you know this is just a big, fat, flaming, turgid middle finger to everyone involved. But you know what, I am not bummed.

Backstory of me and this anime: I legitimately Googled something along the lines of yuri, transformation, recommendations.

I like transformation. Especially like werewolves, werecreatures, science experiments etc. I frequent Transfur.com a lot and I also write fanfictions for whatever floats my boat. Unfortunately that hasn’t been a lot lately. I like to write. I find that it is a good venting mechanism. Such as doing this blog.

I enjoy writing, so much. I have been rereading all my old fanfics and stuff. Some of it is face-palm worthy.

I felt like rewatching The Devil Lady, and I know that I had started a fic. Like, a GOOD fic. Something that if it were possible I would continue. As soon as I refresh my memory maybe I can continue to write on it. Or start something new.

Drink #2

Dankzilla - American Style Red IPA. Bier Brewery

So I am often REALLY fucking good at picking stuff up because it looks cool or sounds cool. However this has also failed me really horribly in the past.

I picked up Dragon’s Milk. Some kind of Milk Stout or whatever and it was AWFUL. At least to me. I stick to what I know now such as Pale Ales or IPAs. Or if I know that it is a lighter-colored beer. Pilsners, etc

I am still kind of learning all the terms and whatnot. I still think IBU on a ber stands for International Butane Units. I think that THAT came from a King of the Hill episode. I could be wrong. Things get fuzzy.

This is a Red IPA. I should learn that I don’t care much for these either. I know exactly where that came from. I had discovered Carson Brewery’s RIPA. I THOUGHT I HAD FOUND THE PEARLY FUCKING GATES. I drank that shit. I drank that shit.

I honestly think that I drank it so much that... I just couldn’t anymore. I had gone through a dry spell, ought a 4-pack and was immediately disgusted. I must have made myself sick on them. The same happened with New Castle’s Werewolf Ale. I drank myself sick on them.

Disclaimer: This is not to say that Carson Brewery’s RIPA and the seasonal New Castle Werewolf Ale are bad beers. In fact they are good beers! So good that I had drank them so much that I cannot stand them anymore. I think that it also had turned me off to Red IPA’s in general. Which is a shame. Good thing I only got a 6-pack of this Dankzilla. I will look for an IPA next time.

There was probably mixing of alcohols involved in these episodes as well. You know where you start drinking beer, drink some vodka, then more beer.... A wise roommate once told me, “Beer before liquor, get sick quicker. Liquor before beer, have no fear....” I still stand by this now.

Many nights she and I got trashed together. Good times MidtermMassacre, good times.

There is something in a Red IPA that changes the taste though, makes me reminiscent of the times I had drank myself sick on Red IPAs.

Again, good thing I only have a 6-pack of them

Got an update that my Drizly order is on the way!

The best way to find one of my cats is when someone knocks on the front door. She is so fearful of... everything. She hates it when I have food delivered or Drizly comes, or Peapod.

I should really replace the doorbell though, instead of having the neat wires hanging out of my doorframe. That says awesome homeowner right there.

Before I get any hate on how to fix it, I severed one of the wires by accident. I’ll just get a wireless one. Maybe I can have someone remove them, and the transformer in the hallway sometime.

BTW, I should correct my previous post, I do know one beverage-term and that is ABV. The higher the ABV, the quicker I am going to get drunk. I tend to like the higher the ABV, especially when it comes to Imperial IPAs. I have had 12-14% ABV Imperials. Usually two will get me off my rocker. I like Imperials though. Sometimes you just need to reset everything and get fucking wasted.

I don’t have to work tonight or tomorrow. I can use tomorrow to recover, or get drunk again. I do need to mow my yard though, that is also a good drinking activity, but it is hard with a push mower. Since once you let go a certain lever then the whole machine shuts down. Which I get is a safety mechanism.

First official post

I guess this is it so I will try and have a format to make it somewhat readable.

Drink #1

TV Wolf American Pale Ale.

First and foremost, I generally stick to Pale Ales. I never thought I would like beer, or Pale Ales for that matter, but meh. This is by Black Acre Brewing Co. In Indy. I also live in Indy and I like supporting local brews and small Breweries. I like this. I have had Saucy Intruder by this company and I also really like it.

I am also placing an order for Drizly. I only have 14 beers in the fridge and if I plan on getting tanked tonight and tomorrow, then I need to order tonight. Indiana is a stupid state where you cannot buy alcohol on Sundays. I don’t care what political party they are but if someone runs for some office and repeals this idiotic law, I will vote for them.

My Drizly order is Stone Ripper, Summit 30th Anniversary Double IPA, and Three Floyds Necron 220oz.

Watching: (Sort of) The Devil Lady Episode 10

Flipping back and forth between typing and placing the Drizly order.

I do have ADHD and while I am medicated, I usually can fuck it up either with caffeine or booze. But I am not working today, nor do I plan on driving anywhere.

I also just opened up my Jurassic World app to check on my dinosaurs. Maybe start fighting because I need some food. And other stuff. I used to have a killer account with an Indominus Rex and all that noise, but then I quit playing and they revamped the game and I lost it all. Bummer man. I had spent entirely too much money on that game. I have also done the same with Ludia’s other game TMNT: Legends. But now I am back on Jurassic World because I get bored. I still play Legends as well though. I really need to try and stick with all these games that I have sunk so much money into. Maybe something will come of it. LOL.

Wishful thinking.

Furcadia is dead as well. I have several alts on there. I am a closet furry. Sort of. I mean, I go to fur cons, and I will moreso now that I have a partial fursuit. I like the anonymity of being in a suit/costume. I would consider myself a rather private individual and I let a few people into my little world. But when I am in costume, I can act differently than usual, be more spontaneous, pesky, outgoing....etc.

I go to a dive bar, and I have even worn my partial in there. The patrons seem to get a kick. It probably is their first ever encounter with a furry even. Most of the locals know that it is me in the costume, but they also enjoy doing pictures, dancing, etc with a random blue-tiger goofball. And even other people that only come in once in a while, they get the surprise of seeinga blue tiger drinking beside them.
