The Joe Biden administration will work with Congress on possible sanctions against the International Criminal Court after its prosecutor announced it was seeking arrest warrants for senior Israeli and Hamas officials, US secretary of state Antony Blinken said on Tuesday. SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

I hate........how sexualizing teenage superheroes is the norm in the superheroes fandom at large.Forgive me for traumadumping ig but i have really strong feelings on this as an autistic adult with a special interest in superheroes at large themselves and itself as a genre

My first hero spin was Big Hero 6.By the time it came out,i was 13 so i was allowed internet access no problem and naturally i went looking all over for content of literally everything about it but my favorite character was Hiro so he was what i searched for the most and he was LUDICRIOUSLY objectified and fetishized for his wasian heritage and when the series came out,he got an official love interest named Karmi who's 16 to his 14 and she got tons of hate from Hiro x Gogo and Hiro x Honey shippers despite them not only being college aged to his again,FOURTEEN years but we got explicit ages for them in season 2 when the Nerd Gang minus him gratuated from SFIT so they're canonically TWENTY ONE(i feel it's an important sidenote that Karmi's brownskin with a hooked nose and her VA is indonesian/chinese mixed so her heritage is obvious and as to how it contributed to her reception vs easian Gogo and blonde light-eyed Honey)

My second one was Bnha and there's been tons of discussion about the base's problem with the UA students and Himiko and i thank everyone who's posted about it deeply but my specific one is that my otp of the series was and will always be Shouto and Momo aka Todomomo even if i'm not nearly as into Bnha as i used to be because they were the first ship i actively made content for and it lasted years and that combined with me headcanoning them as bi4bi,t4t and autistic4autistic helped my egg crack and realize my own autism big time so their relathionship eternally has a big place in my heart

This means i've witnessed grown ass people saying Shouto almost touched Momo's boobs in that cap where he stopped her during their Aizawa fight(and his hand didn't even land on her chest)as a running thing and same for him acting as a macho man who rules over her body so she can't wear what she wants or exist near other men,including BAKUGOU who Momo HATES IN-TEXT,or have conflict with him because he'll just 'put her in her place as his woman' and Momo who's thee 'silk hiding steel' character and has adultification trauma that triggers her anxiety as the plot of the Todomomo starter 'Yaoyorozu Rising' with Shouto helping her with words of affirmation,healthy communication and good boundries on both sides that became the foundation of their dynamic throught the whole franchise,manga and extras,is reduced down the 'the class mom to Iida's class dad' as if she's ever even looked in his general direction and when she's rightfully earned her place as Shouto's best friend alongside Izuku himself and that is INSANELY imppressive taking into account her limited screentime.All i wanted was them being goth bf x pastel gf and getting to heal their inner child together and what i got was a nsfw Todomomo week on twitter and a certain artist drawing Momo/Dabi as an 'April Fool's' joke MULTIPLE YEARS in a row because he's also a Todoroki so it's also Todomomo lololol and i also did her with Natsuo and Fuyumi,i'm so funny!The only good thing to come out of that i started spite headcanoning Momo and Dabi as found siblings and platonic soulmates and realized i was actually on point

Then i watched Batman:Under The Red Hood when i was 19 and Jason became a character i selfship with romantically so i did the logical thing and started reading comics,starting with his.Did you know it's canon that while he dosen't exactly hunt them down specifically,he hates pedophiles and incesters so he once targeted a teacher because he was csa'ing one of his student's and expressed disgust at the thought of kissing any of his brothers based off them being brothers?You wouldn't know either of these things off fanon alone,you'd think he was creepy older guy who seeks out younger people on purpose when he dosen't seek anybody out period and that's his canon relathionships coping mechanism and it's also canon he couldn't talk to girls and pushed a guy off a roof for running a sex ring as Robin.As ROBIN,a fucking 11-15 year old Jason had that much of a moral backbone and willingness to take action in it yet everyone thinks he'd date a CHILD,even HIS OWN UNDERAGED SIBLINGS,with taking advantage of them as the appeal

I've got more notes. Mostly more about Kira and where she ended up after the jump with the warp gate.

Kira decides that since Keira and her have similar names that people can just call her "K" to help the confusion

as a note Keira is pronounced Keer + uh and Kira is pronounced Key + ra

Kira was found by a group of people who lived in the mountains and was given the name Diego which is a very common Spanish name.

Baby Kira was very talkative as a contrast to Mar/Baby Jak who didn't say anything. Always asking questions and was very chatty. She stopped talking once kidnapped and separated from her sibling along with being experimented on. The dark eco effecting her jaw and teeth meant that when she started talking again it meant she basically had to learn how to talk all over again.

The people she was found by lived in a mountain range in South America or what's left of it anyway. due to circumstances it basically never stops raining in the mountains, its either rain, freezing rain, a monsoon, or a light drizzle all year round.

So homes are built into the sides of mountains, using the natural shapes of the mountains as shelter. Using thick bridges made from roots and vines to cross gaps as trying to cross any of the raging rivers via swimming is a death sentence for anyone who isn't a contractor.

This place has the name of Terrace mostly for the way things are terraced in a way to make the most of what very little they have. It's sort of the opposite of Spargus, Spargus is very hot and has not enough water. While Terrace is mostly cold and has too much water.

As Kira gets older and figures herself out she takes up a position as guard of sorts. As she is a contractor and dark warrior she is much more durable then the average person and takes a front line position against the creatures that live in the mountains that are hostile along with foraging and scavenging what little supplies she can find. A rifle is good for long range as she can take down things from a longer range which reduces the risk of falling off the edge of a cliff and being swept away which could end up being fatal, even for a contractor.

Pivoting as she's spent so long with the eco she's learned a lot of the ins and out of it, and can successfully draw out the 4 colors from the dark eco. She's learned how to use it to help the People of Terrace and despite her frighting appearance and standoff behavior is valued for it.

She can use Green eco to make the vine bridges and reinforce them with more vines and infuse the soil with it to improve the quality and boost crop growth. Red eco can be condensed into crystals that can heat homes, and when infused into stone make it stronger and more durable. Blue eco can be used as a power source for basic machinery and yellow eco can be used for long range defense in a pinch.

This is part of why she buts heads (some times literally with) with Samos and Ashelin. She mostly works with them at first just for the sake of getting home after an experiment of making a set of warp gates on the planet she ended up on for easier travel between cities. This went wrong since the person who built the warp gates forgot to turn the other one they made on and since they were going off of Kira's memories of the warp gate she overclocked it defaulted to the warp gate inside the baron's prison which was overrun with metalhead which destroyed the warp gate Kira came out of shortly after it spat her out.

Kira starts being more genuine with her assistance to haven after meeting a group of kids living in haven and she decides to help out more so that the kids have a better chance of a future.

in her words: "I'm an asshole, but I'm not a monster, if I can help make sure those kids can have a future I'm gonna help out"

Jak and Daxter AU

So Jak and Dexter fandom, I have an AU I wanna share it’s kinda self indulgent but I wanna share it anyway. it is also a crossover with paella magi madoka magic cause that was a big thing for me when I first came up with this au and stuck around.

@radioactivepeasant since I really enjoy your Jak content I tagged you since I want you to see this. Its kinda a mess right now but I hope it catches your interest.

So everyone knows at this point that King Damas of Spargus is Jak’s father, and is the previous ruler of Haven before Baron Praxis overthrew him. 

So my au is that whenever Jak was born he came into the world with a twin. 

So Damas is looking for his sons, but by the time Jak & hit twin meets Damas  he’s actually got a son and a daughter.

This twin has been given the name Kira. 

So when Count Velcro (its Veger!) kidnapps the two when they escape they get separated Young Jak/Mar is found by the underground while Unfortunately Young Kira is swept up into the dark warrior program, as Young Kira was passed over by Kor, she was left in the slums and in area where the poor and unfortunate were vanished off the streets to be used as test subjects in the dark warrior program. 

Kira thanks to her bloodline and being relatively young was able to survive these Dark Eco experiments relatively unscathed, Kira has permanent horns, stains on her skin from dark eco exposure, sharper teeth with stronger jaw structure, (if you put fingers close to her mouth there a good chance you’ll lose them), night vision and a tapetum lucid. (the things that make cats eyes glow in the dark)

The Puella Magi stuff comes in briefly when an Incubator shows up and offers a wish Kira’s wish is rather wordy and is best boiled down to a desire to know and understand the why and how the Dark Warrior Program operated. She made the wish got the information and decided to GTFO.

Her “boon” from the wish was she automatically gets the basics of how or why something eco based works, provided that the thing is man made if its a precursor artifact she’s gonna come up with zilch.

She uses the warp gate in the prison to escape by overclocking it with eco with the intent of scrambling it so she wouldn’t be followed, by overclocking she got spat out in another timeline/universe where thanks to the timey wimey ball grows up and becomes an adult in a similar manner to Jak. 

Kira received her name from another contractor she met, Kaho Okumura. In this context it was chosen since it sounder like the English word for killer, and for the Japanese onomatopoeia ぎらぎら romanized “kirakira” which means the sound of something glimmering or sparkling, sometimes referring to a determined gleam or sparkle in ones eye.

Kira’s personality is prickly, she’s very guarded and tends to be very snarky, and jaded with people. Though she almost never beats around the bush and is very blunt, she says what she means and she means what she says. she often works on her own and is incredibly self reliant. She also does not enjoy being touched much. 

But if you’ve known her for a while and have earned her trust Kira will loosen up, shell be a bit more open with her expression instead of having resting bitch face all the time, she’ll be willing to play games and relax instead of constantly being on her guard and ready to defend against a physical attack.

Physically she’s shorter than Jak but not by much, she’s about eye level with Jak’s shoulders. she’s also somewhat stockier, having a fair bit more muscle definition and strength then Jak, who is built more for running, parkour, and the like. Kira is built more to brawling, and physical strength, and can take more hits.

In a physical completion Jak would beat Kira in contests of speed and agility. while Kira would beat Jak in contests of strength or endurance.

Kira is well versed in rock climbing as the area she ended up in is very mountainous with lots of cliffs. 

Kira’s gun is a modified sniper rifle that fires metal bullets that have been infused with eco, while Jak’s morph gun shoots blasts of raw eco.

Kira also refuses to touch light eco with a 10 foot pole.

Kira and Tess would get along surprisingly well, since with Tess’s skills as a gunsmith would catch Kira’s attention and she would want to compare notes since Kira modified her gun herself.
