Feferi Peixes is such a fucking important character, oh my god. 

I've seen her get put down and hated on by so many people; even the comic's creator seems to think that she didn't 'do much'. So so many people view her as a nothing who just didn't do anything important and then died, and that is completely and entirely and 100% false and it makes me so mad when I hear that. 

She's just so important because she's a female character who stands up for herself and stays on her own two feet. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people hate her because they think she 'rejected' Eridan, or treated him like a 'job', or things like that. But the truth is -- her relationship with Eridan was unhealthy. She was working hard to make Eridan happy, and Eridan wasn't listening to anything she said; no matter how hard she tried at being his moirail, he wasn't really listening, and so it didn't work. Yes, she did seem to treat Eridan as a job, but that's because the relationship had become a job for her. Eridan might have been happy, but for Fef, it was nothing but an insane amount of work to keep his rage at bay -- and so she got out instead of staying in a relationship that was unhealthy for her. She stood up for herself, told Eridan she couldn't do it anymore, and left. And that is such a big thing. 

Fef's blood is Tyrian; she was born with the weight of an entire world on her shoulders and the knowledge that she would almost certainly be killed one day, simply because of the color of her blood. She had the burden of Gl'bgolyb; if she didn't keep him fed, she'd doom every troll -- and she had to feed him other trolls' lusii. And yet, even though she had all the reason in the world and the power to be horrible and unkind -- she chose to be kind, optimistic. She's definitely got her snarky side, but she never lost an ounce of her fearlessness and eternal optimism. And she only takes life when absolutely forced -- how many of the other trolls can say that? 

On top of that, she created dreambubbles when she died. And without those like half the story would disappear, let's be real. So you can't say Fef never did anything important -- she's so absolutely vital to the story. 

What I'm trying to say here is: Feferi Peixes is not weak, or useless, and didn't 'reject Eridan' or 'not do much' Feferi Peixes is fucking important and fantastic and wonderful and man, I wish more people appreciated her as much as I do.
