With their rut coming any day now, Roux knew that they needed to make preparations. Having fully decided that they were going to go out in the woods and wait out their rut as a wolf - something that they had did for several months before they had even arrived in Crystal Grove - they wanted to make sure that Badger would be taken care of. Especially considering he was still recovering from his surgery the day before. And, thankfully, there were plenty of people that they knew they could turn to to help them out.

As they were walking down the street after talking to someone about watching Badger for the next couple of days, they had to pause for a moment as they could’ve sworn they recognized a scent. Was their mind playing tricks on them? They knew that they were more susceptible to scents right now, but they didn’t think they’d come across the all too familiar scent of brown sugar and gardenias. “There’s no way…” Roux murmured to themselves, but curiosity got the better of them and they decided to see if they could follow the trail to see if their mind was playing tricks on them and they were having a walking rut dream. 

The trail led to the library, and though Roux was still doubtful, they pushed open the door and was nearly bombarded by the fresh scent. And there, standing behind the counter, was someone that they didn’t think they’d ever see again.

“…Bo?”

The transition into life in Crystal Grove had been somewhat easy but still exhausting for Bo. She had missed her mother and the loudness of the Williams household but in time she knew Crystal Grove would feel like home soon enough. The library a least was starting to feel less alien to her as all libraries were the same,warm and filled with books for the omega to care for so in that department she felt alright.

She had yet to seek out Avery, not wanting to bombard them in their new life and surroundings by appearing on their doorstep. Although she had only been in the town for a week Bo knew that it was only a matter of time before she and her former best friend would cross paths and that time finally came in the middle of her work day, that all too familar voice and face appearing in front of the counter.

"Hey stranger." Bo said warmly and stepped out from behind the corner, wanting nothing more than to wrap her arms around them but stayed put to respect their boundaries and not frighten them off within seconds of reuniting.

" It's good to see you."

gotta love that retail life! hey I’m kit and I’m so excited to be here :) Here’s some stuff about bo.

like a cool summer breeze on a hot day, deborah was a breath of fresh air in her family of loud overconfident but loving wolves. hating her name, she declared at age five that she would never be called deborah, just bo.

she grew up in a happy and warm household that supported her decision to forgo finding a mate and getting a degree in library science,despite her extended family’s disapproval. 

though the pressure to have a mate did increase as the rest of her siblings found matches, bo remained, happy in the quiet life she had chosen for herself. she had her best friend avery (roux) and that was all she needed and once avery left, the small town started to feel well...small.

she had received a letter from avery about how great crystal grove was and decided to check on her friend and see crystal grove for herself.

bo is just, a good solid person. she’s sweet and unassuming, and actually cares about people. it’s easier for her to take care of other people before herself and nobody ever calls her on that because she hides it well. 

she’s new in town so let’s plot.
