Protection Magic & Baneful Protections⚡️
Tumblr media
What are Baneful Protections?
Baneful protections can be considered both a form of baneful magic and a form of protection magic. When beginning baneful work, this is usually what I recommend starting with. Baneful protections are protection spells that produce some sort of consequence when energy hits it. This can be done without the use of physical taglocks (like names or dates of birth) because energy is able to act like a taglock. For example, some of the baneful protections I have set up will reflect any energy that hits it back to its source while others trap that energy instead (so it can used later on).
It is very important that even though you are protecting yourself, you aren't accidentally tethering the energy to you. In my first baneful protection, I used my saliva to tether the protection to me but instead I tethered all the negative energy the spell had trapped to me and had a horrible case of bad luck for weeks before I realized what I had done. As a rule of thumb i personally don’t include any personal taglocks in baneful protections and always make sure to include a petition that details my exact intent for the spell.
When to use Baneful Protections:
Baneful protections can be used instead of or in conjunction with other forms of protection (see my blog posts for more information on alternative forms of protection magic). I personally didn't have any baneful protections before I was hexed (for the first time) and now I have some just as a precautionary measure. Baneful protections are most beneficial (in my opinion) if you are surrounded by a lot of negative energy or work in an environment that is mentally draining. These protections can help combat the toll that it takes and prevent much of that energy from staying with you for an extended period of time.
It is really up to you whether or not you choose to incorporate baneful protections into your practice. It is worth it to note that this spell work is considered baneful magic, so those who believe in "doing no harm" may choose to forgo this and stick to regular protections instead. Whatever you choose, be sure to do your own research before attempting any new forms of spell work.
Return-to-Sender Spells:
Mirrors- mirrors have the ability to reflect an image so they are also able to reflect energy. Putting up a mirror on your altar or incorporating a piece of a mirror into a spell is very effective at returning energy to its source.
Burning the bottom of a candle- this is a common one and it is also my preferred method at returning energy. The way I do it is by burning the top of the candle like normal and visualizing the energy that you wish to return. Once the candle is flat, I will flip it upside down and light the other end of the wick, symbolizing the return of that energy to its source. This can be done many different ways so check out what other practitioners do to come up with your own method.
Petitions- petitioning is a really great tool that I utilize in most of my spell work because it is an effective way at manifesting a specific intent. It helps if you know the name of the person who sent you the energy for this method but it is not necessary. As long as you have a clear intention and some return-to-sender oil you can make an effective spell.
Running water or rivers- running water has been viewed as being able to carry energy from place to place so it is possible to use it to return energy to its source. In the shower, you can imagine the energy running off of you, down the drain and back to the person who sent it. Another method is throwing your petition into a river and having the river carry it back to its source. (This method also works with a toilet if you are feeling especially feisty!)

ღ.☁ NEPTUNE THROUGH HOUSES
➳ I researched on youtube as well and my main sources were the KRSchannel and Lexi the Leo so please do check them out.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ღ.☁WHAT IS NEPTUNE AND WHAT DOES IT REPRESENT?
Usually, we consider Neptune as one of the outer planets in Vedic astrology as it does not affect a person much due to the fact that it takes 10-15 years to change its position but is responsible for generational or cultural change that occurs over the course of time. We often connect Neptune with illusion but the most interesting thing I found out was whenever Neptune is present with the Rahu, moon, or venus some form of addiction issue or maybe a mental issue that may lead to addiction is present especially liquid drugs or liquor or any kind of hallucinogenic. Because Neptune is often represented as water and Neptune is the god of fresh water in roman religion. The person is trying to escape what they are dealing with. Now it may not be true for you or many other people but this is what I personally observed in many people. Neptune is also related to any kind of chemical and also illusions of course. Also another thing I observed people who have Neptune-Rahu or Neptune-venus or Neptune in relation to the third house have a love for photography. Neptune affects us on a subconscious level. It is a very mysterious and lonely planet. You can't see Neptune with naked eyes because it is so far away it looks like a dim light that is so far away at the back of the solar system that once you reach it you feel fear. So Neptune becomes the fear because fear is sometimes illusionary. So this is Neptune's subconscious infusing itself on you. One of the things that Neptune can do very well is trying to triangulate somebodies perception and change it right in front of them. This is my understanding and what I found out about Neptune.
Tumblr media
So with Neptune present in the first house, it kind of distorts our view of who we are as people and who we are projecting ourselves to be to other people. You are going to display a very idealistic and romanticized version of yourself to others. You might look toward other people in your life to find who you really are. You might come across as someone who has their head up in the clouds or a very dreamy person who just lives in another world. People might not be able to define you. It's like you live in another realm almost. You might come across as alluring and mystical. You might be very empathic as Neptune as I said before is often connected with water. You are really sensitive to other people's emotions and energies. You might also pick other people's accents and mannerisms very easily and sometimes without even realizing it. You might not have a very strong sense of self as to who you really are because you are ever-changing. Also, people might try to project what they want of you onto you. People might have this completely different concept of you in their minds and would try to project that onto you. You might also have a lot of alter egos as you are dealing with different people. So with this placement, you might be learning to be grounded, set boundaries with other people, and trying to find a stronger sense of self.
ღ.☁ SECOND HOUSE
ღ.☁ SECOND HOUSE
The second house is a very concrete house as it is related to money, finances, and security. And Neptune is an ungrounded otherworldly planet. So with Neptune being present here, there are going to be a lot of illusions related to money, finances, and security. This placement can manifest in different ways according to the negative and positive aspects. If negative aspects are present it can manifest as someone who has no control over their money, somebody who spends a lot. Somebody who would not think of the consequences of what would happen after spending all the money because there is an illusion present here that it will come back. It can also manifest as someone who doesn't really attach themselves to money very well. You can be someone who doesn't put a lot of energy into money or finances. You may feel like money is something you don't really require in life. You may like to work in humanitarian jobs or may like to work where you might help people. You may also gain money through some form of art. You might have a very idealistic idea of making money. You could also be deceived by other people through or for money. So you might want to learn to ground your money and balance your finances.
ღ.☁ THIRD HOUSE
You might have a very active imagination and you may daydream quite a bit. You might lack concentration due to excessive daydreaming habits. You might lack discipline or might not be very grounded in physical reality. You are always learning and are quite intelligent but you may find that you are always learning about things that have Neptune's influence. You may be very interested in astrology, spirituality, or tarot. You may seek spiritual wisdom rather than book wisdom. You might have clairsentience abilities. You may receive or feel information from others in a higher realm. You will have a hard time explaining what you are feeling and how you are feeling these energies and pieces of information. You might be really dismissive of the things that don't interest you due to your short attention span. It will be really hard for you to stick up with something. You may be a bit of a liar like saying things that you don't really mean sometimes. So you have to learn to stay attentive and maintain discipline in your life.
ღ.☁ FOURTH HOUSE
You might not have had a very grounded home or upbringing. Your home might not have been a very stable place to be or your childhood wasn't very grounded. This placement can also suggest that one of your parents especially your mother might have dealt with addiction in your childhood. You might have learned through your childhood to use escapism to feel secure and comfortable. You may romanticize your childhood in a way that there might be some rose-tinted glasses when it comes to your memories from the past. You may look at it a nicer way than it really was because you want to see the best in any situation. You might have also put a lot of your security onto your friends or other people and found a sense of comfort in other people rather than your family. You might idealize your parents to the point where you might have gotten disappointed when you grew up and realised how they really were. You might find a lot of comfort in like writing poems or any form of art. You may not have learned how to put boundaries growing up and you are learning them as you grow older. You may also find yourself living near water at some point in your life. You might be very intuitive and might have some psychic abilities.
ღ.☁ FIFTH HOUSE
You can fall into really idealized roles regarding your relationships. You may think of your partner as being more than what they really are. You may have a rose-tinted view in regards to your own romantic relationships. You may tend to fall into a savior role to help someone or someone to come help you to shine at the moment like a fairytale. You may lack boundaries in regard to this area of your life. You may find that you self-sacrifice a lot in your relationships. Also, there can be a lot of secrecy around your relationships. This tends to be a very romantic placement. You might love performing different forms of art. You might also love learning astrology and other things with Neptunian energy. You might express your emotions openly in a very romanticized way. You might have this dreamy and romantic energy around you. You can hypnotize people with the way you express yourself. You are also very prone to having very romantic relationships. You may have to learn not to idealize your partner and make them who they are not in your head.
ღ.☁ SIXTH HOUSE
With this placement, you are not going to be a very organized person. You might like to follow your intuition rather than a structured plan. You might not be able to work well under pressure. You might have a career where you heal other people. You may do a lot for other people. You may also want to do charity. You might not have the energy to do a lot of work. You might get overwhelmed with routines. You might be somebody who does not like to have a lot on their plate. You might get illnesses but you might not the cause because it id underneath the surface. Neptune in sixth house is very sensitive. You might also face deception through your co-workers.
Tumblr media
ღ.☁ SEVENTH HOUSE
You might tend to fall into broken bird syndrome where you either want to be saved or save somebody in a relationship. It mostly manifests as wanting to be the savior in a relationship where you want to heal people and nurture the people you are with. This placement gives you a rose-tinted approach toward people you are in a relationship with where you tend to ignore the more grounded side of the people you are in a relationship. You will see the light in them and overlook their bad attributes. You will draw in a lot of broken birds with this placement who want to be healed or people who are going through heartaches from previous relations. You may put these people on a pedestal and idealize them in your head as to who they are while in physical reality they are different. You would go above and beyond for them while they won't really do the same for you. You might not have a really grounded sense of how relationships are. All the relationships that you are going to have would be really significant and would have a huge impact on your life. You will learn a lot from your relationships. This will help you in becoming a better version of yourself.
ღ.☁ EIGHTH HOUSE
This placement is a very empathic, psychic, and emotional one. You might be interested in occults, the metaphysical, and the afterlife. You might have questioned what happens after I die a lot of times in your head. You might be very interested in reincarnation and death. You probably be very much into psychology as well why do people do what they do? You might feel very connected to spirits and spirituality. This placement is very intense. You can really go into the deepest darkest part of your soul and pull out emotions. With this placement, you are going to have very prophetic dreams as this placement is psychic. You are going to want very intense relationships and friendships like wanting to merge your souls together with these people. You may see that you chase people that are very destructive or people who love bomb you. This is not really healthy but you romanticize that because the eighth house explores the taboo and darker side. You may crave this darker kind of relationship just to feel that intensity and substance. You may find normal relationships are boring to you. You tend to forget the boundaries in a relationship as you might give a lot but not receive as much.
ღ.☁ NINTH HOUSE
Neptune and the ninth house go hand in hand as the ninth house talks about expansion, luck, and our higher education, and Neptune talks about illusions, wisdom, and imagination. So what we see is how Neptune is aspected here to see how it is going to manifest for you. You always see the light in negative situations and believe that you will always get through it. You have a very optimistic approach to life. You always believe in your faith and spirituality. This can manifest in a negative way as well where you just gloss over your problems and pretend that everything is fine and dandy instead of actually looking at the concrete situation of what is going to happen. Approaching problems in an overly optimistic way rather than looking at what is going wrong and why it is wrong. You may sometimes tend to self-sacrifice your views in regard to spirituality or even religion. You may find that you dive deep into spirituality and religion without any anchor. You have a very deep faith in a higher power. You might use your faith as a way to escape. You might not put in work because you believe that higher power will take care of it. Sometimes you forget that you need to work towards your goal instead of wishing upon a star. You are very intuitive. You like learning about philosophies and feel connected to a higher power. You need to work on being grounded and work for your dreams.
ღ.☁ TENTH HOUSE
You may actually have trouble in the initial stages of your life. Navigating what is that you actually want to do with your life. It doesn't mean that you don't have any direction it could just manifest in the sense that your hands are full. You don't know what to choose and what to drop. You may be scared of being depended on by other people. Being the responsible one may be one of your fears. Scared of stepping out into the world and having other people rely on you. You would probably have a profession that would not be practical in a way. You might have a very healing profession or profession that may be related to any form of art. You may end up finding a job in a very unconventional way. Any career you are working for you might want to feel called to it. You are going to want to have a creative career. You may want to work towards a job that makes you feel inspired like this is your soul's purpose. But you might struggle initially to bring your dreams into the physical world. You are probably someone who dreams very big and have very big goals in life.
ღ.☁ ELEVENTH HOUSE
You are a very caring person who is always there for your friends and always cares about them. You are very sweet, kind, and generous. Very there for other people. Your friendships are something you put a lot into and they value a lot to you. You may end up going into a lot of humanitarian acts, helping people in need, and going up and above for your friends. But some people might take advantage of your giving nature. And you may have some illusions when it comes to friends and other people around you. People might take your kindness for granted and be around you to fulfill their motives. If aspected badly you might fall into peer pressure from other people and do things you would not normally do. You might have a lot of friends who have the same interests as you. You might be very sensitive as you might not like it when other people don't like you or say things that you don't like. You might not stand up for yourself sometimes and end up people pleasing just to fit in.
ღ.☁ TWELFTH HOUSE
Neptune is in its home so this makes it a very psychic placement. You will find that you are very spiritual, empathic, and extremely sensitive. You might not know about your psychic gifts as you have to work hard to unlock them and be conscious of them. You are probably going to give off very healing energy that might draw people towards you. You will find that many people depend on you in times of need and when they need counseling. This placement can be sometimes overwhelming emotionally. You can end up having anxiety. You might sometimes end up living in the dream world rather than reality. It would feel very natural for you to live in your head rather than the actual physical reality. You have very dreamy energy around you. You may struggle to ground yourself. You tend to be a bit shy in relationships as it hard for you to express yourself freely. You have very big dreams but you may sometimes struggle as bringing your dreams into reality may be overwhelming.

Lilith in houses
Tumblr media
Lilith in houses
Lilith changes a lot when traveling through all the astrological houses. Studying the house placement first is even more helpful, but over-all combining your sign and house can lead to the utmost understanding of this part of your natal chart.
Lilith in 1st house
Hiding your deepest desires and wishes is really hard with Lilith in 1st, even if the individual is a bit ashamed and tries to hide it, it just comes out pouring in almost every case. It is very visible and readable. These individuals might also feel a sort of dissatisfaction (the sign placement would help here, depending on the sign Lilith is in, the individual might incline towards those areas the sign represents, so you can discover or learn more about what the dissatisfaction might be about, for example a Taurus Lilith with a 1st house would indicate dissatisfaction of their possessions, wealth, security, image etc.). Some individuals with Lilith in 1st can feel like they are constantly not able to identify with themselves fully and struggling with it. For some, Lilith in 1st can cause body image issues, feeling ashamed of themselves, of their personality, of their looks.
Lilith in 1st can also be described as someone who reacts and subconscious so it can be hard to work with these people. The thing with Lilith is to always transmute it to the highest potential and form which is achievable instead of falling to the lowest instincts (undeveloped) which can cause pain. With Lilith in 1st, these individuals, should always examine their steps and the action they prepare to take. Also they should dig deeper and investigate just what it is that motivates them rather than trying to push themselves into something so they can get rid of the feelings of shame or to get a “hit”.
Lilith in 2nd house
The darker impulses of the 2nd house are all about money, possessions, survival and/or image. Lilith in 2nd individuals might be obsessed with all or either of these things. This obsession comes from fear. Avoiding to deal with this fear, with the obsession, they try even harder to achieve those things.
They might have experienced rejection which deeply hurt them, and the way their mind works is that in order to get over it, or beat it is to achieve everything materially and just show those people how wrong they were about them. This rejection has been carried out with them whether it comes from a past life in order to deal with it through a journey, or it directly happened to them it is very present and felt. These individuals also fear failure, losing everything and being left with nothing, having nothing, having no name, no legacy, no stable foundation, but that fear lives within them. If they truly accept themselves, they wouldn’t let themselves be operated and lead by fear. Their path to healing is through self-acceptance, self-love and inner child work.
Desiring material stability, beautiful things is nothing to be ashamed of, but it shouldn’t be a leading force leading to obsession which can lead to worse things. Keeping themselves in check and not feeding that obsessive streak is by celebrating achieving authentic success and it feels just about right.
Lilith in 3rd house
Before these individuals had walls up which guard them, they were probably so open to the world and got wounded and hurt. The wound is probably connected to communication/the truth. Maybe it has to do with writing, anxiety, over thinking, expressing oneself, social anxiety, public speaking, maybe even learning disabilities or just a different way of learning that others in their surrounding, a disagreement of what’s true and fake and false. All these experiences might have made these individuals super guarded and cautious in communication.
They either stay silent during communication or maybe they create a persona based on what others like to see and hear and want. In some form or shape their communication is sort of inauthentic, they also censor themselves because they carry the fear of being judged and misunderstood and they are afraid they might get punished for it. Lilith in 3rd can heal through a start of communication with their environment in a natural, authentic way, drop the persona, reveal yourself and don’t be afraid, don’t give a flying crap about those people. Through their healing they might learn that truths can be different and real, each of us experience things differently it is important to pay attention to all of the sides but that does not invalidate your feelings and your thoughts on the matter. It is valid and important to paint the whole picture. Interaction with nature and energy is also very healing, it can get the flow going. Don’t be afraid to use your words as they come naturally.
Lilith in 4th house
Lilith in the 4th can be found in early childhood, family, home, memories, relationship with parents here. The side of Lilith carried within the 4th house might’ve been hard to handle by the parents or the parents did not know how to handle those deepest desires and urges that Lilith causes within us in these individuals. Because of that they either suppressed Lilith because they thought it wrong to express it (accompanied by guilt and shame) or they were rejected in some way. A lot of the time Lilith deals with shame within us created by all these urges and desires, with the 4th house here it can be shame caused and felt by themselves, feeling self-disgust even as children. Even as they get older it doesn’t feel any less shameful, they need to heal their inner child.
The shame experienced can be connected with the sign Lilith is in. Inner child work is necessary to heal, as it is forgiving themselves and finding self-love. Lilith in 4th might be one of the slowest ones to go through the path of healing and patching up those wounds.
Lilith in 5th house
Lilith in 5th individuals were probably shamed about something that happened in their childhood by childhood peers/friends. They might’ve played with themes surrounding Lilith which were probably prohibited and/or taboo by society, especially the other children and their parents. They might’ve been deemed inappropriate.
Lilith in 5th individuals are probably really cool, expressive and futuristic but they are more often ahead of their time and are judged because of it and rejected by society. This rejection causes the wounds inflicted and shame that could play out in two different ways: they could either lean more on the obsessive side and display Lilith even more to others, the rejection make you want to express it even more, flaunt it even more, but you don’t accept them within yourself. All the attention is on Lilith here but it doesn’t help with healing. The other way would be suppressing everything and pretending to be “normal”. Which can mean living a double life or pretending these qualities and sides do not even exist. But as time passes, the pressure can become too much and everything can come pouring down as a tsunami.
Issues with children might be present as well, as we mentioned maybe their personal problems expressed since childhood, or causing them to not want to have children.
The healing path isn’t repressing or flaunting. Instead it is to go inward and leave all of these motherfuckers on the outside, outside. Work on yourselves, go inward, start hanging out with yourself, loving yourself which can only bring you closer to your authentic self and it can make you feel good about yourself. In some cases healing can start when these individuals leave their community/town and just find themselves in another place/city/state. But the way isn’t to show or prove anyone anything. It is about shifting the focus in another direction - themselves, self expression through authenticity.
Lilith in 6th
With the 6th house, here we are dealing with mentors as in teachers, parents, bosses or any other authority figures which are in positions of mentorship. With Lilith in the 6th the way these individuals accomplish their goals and their tasks might not line up with the ways of their mentors/authority figures (society) who consider what’s “right” or “wrong”.
These individuals have different ways about going on things and are/were probably scolded because of it. This can be expressed anywhere in their lives, during school, professional life, participating hobbies etc. The lesson with this Lilith placement is to follow their individual way of doing things, even if others do not appreciate it. But, this might develop differently for different Lilith in 6th individuals, some might turn to a way of slavery/servitude in order to survive (in childhood or a past life). They get troubled with what it is they “should” do and the real trouble is them finding their own voice when it comes to mundane life things. They definitely struggle with what others think and what they want them to do instead of following the beat of their drum.
The healing path here is to embrace Lilith and focus on the feelings inside, on the right that you think/feel/have a way to do. Lilith is an outcast for whatever reason anyway, especially for following her heart, which is something that you need to do. The Universe will definitely send them small struggles which turn into lessons each day to help them build up in order to follow up with their further work with following their heart and their gut instinct rather than the voice of society/authorities.
Lilith in 7th
These individuals more than any other Lilith placement might have trouble seeing Lilith within them. They might be the ones to look a partner that has Lilith qualities because they have trouble recognizing and acknowledging Lilith in 7th within themselves. They might sense these qualities but most are suppressed. There is a part of them that they do not embrace and own up which causes them to not use that part to its fullest potential.
They are inclined to end up with a partner which has qualities of their Lilith sign. The relationship itself might be forbidden in a way, taboo, on and off, obsessive. But it is important not to avoid these type of relationships, owning up their Lilith qualities can really be helped through these types of relationships, they awaken these deepest parts of them that they so masterfully suppressed. They attract these partners because they are the ones that can teach them how to express it; they just need practice to do so. It will be difficult at times and painful but it will be worth it.
Lilith in 8th
These individuals have probably experienced pain or trauma early on in life or maybe a past life. A very intense placement. The trauma/pain caused early on or in a past life creates fear. They might feel like they are always running from fear. The fear can create this, sort of, control issues, them wanting to control others, their surroundings or just, themselves.
They might push themselves to believe that this control will stop their fear somehow, or banish it from existence, but they are wrong. Dealing and healing will only help.
As we know, the 8th house is all about going through hell and then rising from the ashes stronger than ever, Lilith in 8th has than transformative power, so the changes are big that these individuals will transform, self-destruct then rise again. Trusting again in the Universe, in themselves is something they will need to re-gain, re-program themselves and such. They should figure out what that pain/trauma caused them, what they felt, sit it out, feel it again, learn from it. See the timeline, how the Universe helped and what did they learn from it.
The intensity of the 8th house here can be channeled into power and passion (especially in relationships) if they heal.
Lilith in 9th
With Lilith in the 9th, the individual’s thought process is different, the way their thinking is wired is different (topics like religion, philosophy, cultures, languages, education, sexuality, etc), but they lack good expression and therefore it can result in them being misfits in society. Lilith in 9th makes them feel different  because it does not agree with society about some or many things (also take into consideration the sign which Lilith is in). Because of the suffering and hardships they may endure they will even try to fit in and conform despite Lilith’s position and they will try to hide and/or suppress their opinions and thoughts or the other case-scenario would be that they would flaunt their opinions even more but at their core they would still be insecure and will not accept themselves fully despite the flaunting.
Healing this should start by them figuring out why they think the way they do and how is that different from most, generalized society opinions, accept themselves and the way they think and also trust that there is a good reason (cause, purpose, mission perhaps (?)) that has lead them to think uniquely and differently.
Lilith in 10th
The 10th house covers public image (among other things). Their public persona carries the effect of Lilith and it is something they might feel they need to hide and/or control better. They probably want to be accepted and welcomed by the public and that would be suppressing Lilith’s influence (to some). The sign Lilith is in (accompanied by the influence of the house) will probably make others uncomfortable which would probably not feel good for the image at that very moment, but that is just the eccentric and magnetic influence of Lilith. For some individuals, this placement can make it a bit harder to settle on a career path that will be satisfying, the other case-scenario would be that other would stay at a job for such a long time even though it does not make them happy at all and they will suppress Lilith, while others might hop from job to job, searching for something that feels right.
When these individuals release the suppression of Lilith that’s when they will find peace, career-wise and with the struggles of their public image. They should honor themselves and their path instead of longing for some kind of popularity, instead of playing by some societal rules that only make you that more miserable and unhappy. To heal and start somewhere is to recognize the reactions of others are based on them and their experiences, not on you, your flaws, purpose or your way of being, you are perfectly fine, we often-times project and channel our inner rage/confusion/loathing onto others who are different and unique and do things differently from us, who are different from us while we are stuck in this system accordingly.
To heal is to commit to yourself just the way you are, your authentic self. Get to know yourself, learn about yourself and your depth and work on how to improve, heal, better yourself and fuck that public image it will never be perfect.
Lilith in 11th
With Lilith in 11th there may be a rejection felt from groups, especially early on in age. These individuals constantly have that feeling that just tells them that they do not belong and fit in anywhere (whether that’s in society as a whole or a small friend group). They just have a deep need for acceptance and might feel shame and guilt for not being able to get it and fit it.
They might differ from desperately wanting to, trying to fit in, or just totally giving up and starting a path of aloneness. A thing to work on is acceptance, but acceptance from yourself, realizing that you have been gifted such unique traits and a special personality that makes you stand out. Figuring yourself out and your differences, acceptance and then, naturally, you would be inclined to offer your gifts to the world willingly.
In the beginning these individuals are naturally drawn to groups who will not accept them, but working and healing on themselves will also naturally draw them to groups of people who will be accepting and perhaps even like-minded as them.
Lilith in 12th
12th house is all about hidden-everything, which means hidden Lilith or to be more exact, the effect is hidden, shadowed which makes the individual subconscious to it or totally oblivious. The other way would be that those around them won’t notice their Lilith influences at all. As I’ve mentioned above in other house placements, the sign has a major influence too, for example Lilith in x (a sign) that draws attention somehow but it is in the 12th house will result in feeling all of that but not wanting or just not acting on it. It’s hidden from themselves and the people around them.
There could also be some types of blockages that restrict tapping into the Lilith power for these individuals. A lack of knowledge, a lack of drive, motive etc. Sex could also be a big subject here, the individual is so subconsciously trapped within self that they cannot understand sexual activity let alone enjoy it, after one has healed Lilith and accepted it can enjoy and delve into sex. Lilith in 12th can be very wild and reckless because she is most suppressed here and also hidden. Some of these individuals might have been bullied a lot also. Lilith in 12th healing can go as far as past lives instead of just childhood trauma/wounds/toxicity, the karma and healing can spread as far as a past life it can make the healing process even harder for this placement. Escapism is also likely with the 12th house, so indulging in activities/substances/behaviors/patterns which are of that nature can also mean the person is running from their deepest instincts, self, but others may decide to start healing right away.
Connecting the physical body and mind is one key to healing. Our bodies are vessels and they are our messenger, they can let us know when something is wrong (chills, a bad feeling in your stomach, every inch of your body saying ‘no’, sleepiness, dizziness etc). Once something is up you can dig deeper, especially if it is anxiety, and discover Lilith, discover what shames you, what guilts you. To realize this connection can also be helped by spending time in nature, grounding can be a wonderful way to start healing.

Shadow Work Prompts
What emotion do you try to avoid? What triggers this emotion within you?
Who has hurt you in this past and what would you say to them now?
What do you think your worst trait is and why? In what ways does this trait bring positivity into your life?
Are you holding any grudges against someone? Why haven't you been able to let go of that resentment?
What do you need to forgive yourself for?
Are there any privileges in your life that you've taken for granted?
What promise have you made to yourself that you've broken? How does that make you feel?
What words would hurt you the most if someone used them to describe you? Why does that hurt you so much?
What are some ways you could be more forgiving?
What's the biggest lie you've ever told?
Are there times when you could have been kinder to yourself?
What is your saddest memory? Why does it make you feel this way?

Rapid fire shit I wish people had told me about witchcraft:
Every fucking thing is a spell if you put your mind to it
You can and should bless your medications
Pepper is the best for banishing, especially in the form of pepper spray
Don't trust any man who promotes sex magic...with himself
Powerful witches live and die by arch support
Conversely, plantar fasciitis is one hell of a curse and all it takes to cast it is gifting one pair of cute shoes
Sing while you cleanse - it doesn't have to make sense, it doesn't even have to be real words, but the noise helps drive out bad spirits
Fire IS the cleanser but firefighters uncleanse everything so be fucking careful
Early wiccans made up the bullshit of the Law of 3, the Rede, etc, because they were shitty people who were terrified of being rightfully cursed
Never do a knot spell you can't untie
You can untie any knot spell with scissors
Witchcraft isn't an aesthetic; the most powerful witches don't look like witches and the ones who look most like witches rarely know what the fuck they're doing
Never underestimate the power of a grid
Scrapbook paper will take your spell from 0 to 60
Concrete powder in a gas tank is much more effective than sugar in a gas tank
You can practice any religion, or no religion, and be a witch
Turtles are always a good sign
Crows will be your friend for peanuts, but they WILL eat hummingbirds
Witchcraft is science with some flair
Yeah signs from the universe do exist, but most things aren't Signs(tm)

Baneful Magic & Methods🌙
Tumblr media
🖤Disclaimer: I do not believe in the 3-fold law or the Wiccan rede. These methods are things I use in my own practice and am choosing to share. Please do your own research!
What is Baneful Magic?
Many people confuse the term "black magic" with baneful magic. The term "black magic" is actually a racist term and should not be used to describe baneful workings. This is also the same for the term "white magic" being used to describe healing magic.
Baneful magic is magic cast against someone or something with menacing or harmful intent. Baneful magic can be used to speed up the consequences of someone actions towards you or they can be used to block people from benefiting from their work. In my practice, I believe that if baneful work is not warranted (i.e there is no real reason for it to be done), it will not work. This means that I never cast a baneful spell unless I believe it to be truly worth the time and effort.
Baneful rituals can be very simple and low energy or they can be very intense and complex. This honestly depends on what kind of spell work you are doing and what you are doing it for. For example, a baneful ward is something that I would consider to be low energy because you set it up once and as long as it remains intact, it continues to work. However for me, a higher energy baneful spell would be a "stop gossiping" spell because the ingredients I would use are harder to find. Baneful works also depend on the amount of correlations you want to include. For example, do you want the spell to coincide with a specific day of the week, moon phase or month. Maybe you want to perform it during a specific season or ask for help from a specific entity, all these factors should be taken into account when performing these workings.
Some of my Favourite Methods:
Hex water- this is method that is commonly used by aragingwitch (on TikTok) and it is a method that I really enjoy as well. Adding names to hex water can be a really low energy way of ensuring that someone must deal with the consequences of their actions (I use this as more of a "karma" insurance but it can be used as a full on hex).
Freezer spells- some people may argue that this isn’t very baneful but it's one of my favourite and most used methods. Freezer spells can be used to essentially "freeze" people’s influence over you or block them from being able to reach you. You can do this with items as well (when I was quitting smoking, this is how I did it). You can freeze names with regular water or you can bind them first and freeze them in hex water.
Return-to-senders- another one of my favourite spells, this spells is used to return unwanted or harmful energy back to the source that cast it (which is why people always say to tether your hexes to something other than yourself). You can also add a bit of a kickback to these spells or return them with 3 times the energy if you are feeling a little vengeful.
Mirror spells- again one that might not be considered baneful but can be adjusted. The way I use these spells is to make the recipient "look in the mirror" and take an objective look at their actions. This often involves ensuring that they can't run from their problems and must deal with the consequences of their actions. Other variations of this exist as well, you are only limited by your imagination with this one.
Sending a spirit- depending on your relationship with specific spirits, you can petition them to do the work for you. This usually works best if you already have a close working relationship with the spirit you are petitioning but you can also contact spirits you don't normally work with as well. I have seen this work using house spirits, familiars, the dead, deities and many more. It's important for me to stress that how you go about this and the results achieved will depend on the spirit you ask and your relationship with that spirit.
Baneful Work & Ethics:
Witchcraft in general does not have a standard or set guidelines for what is ethical and what is not. Many witches may come to a consensus on what they believe to be ethical based on shared morals or opinions but in reality, it's all fair game. Just because I believe or follow one thing, doesn't mean you have to or will.
It is important for you to determine your own ethical guidelines before practicing baneful magic. I say this because it is very easy, when things go wrong or you are feeling hurt, to just cast magic against whatever or whoever you want but it is not always helpful or necessary. Having guidelines and sticking to them is an important part of baneful practices (they can always change and evolve but the most important thing is that you don't compromise on them when you are emotional). Here are a few guidelines I stick to, feel free to use them if they resonate with you.
Never cast without reason- I will only spend my time and energy on things that are really important to me. If the person I am casting against is already a waste of space in my life, they will also probably be a waste of time.
Never cast emotionally- I will wait several weeks before I decide to cast against someone. If what they did is really bad enough to warrant my energy and time then it's probably something I'll still be upset about weeks or months later.
Never cast against someone you live with or cannot cut out of your life- this one is kind of self explanatory but casting against someone you live with is bad news. You will be affected by your own working and will end up having to reverse it.
Know how to reverse your workings- things can always go wrong so make sure you have a back up plan and a really good uncrossing spell on hand.
Know yourself- it's important to do some reflecting before you hex. Ask yourself how you may have contributed to the situation. Are upset or are you projecting past traumas onto someone? What would you have done if the roles were reversed? Questions like these are tough to answer but help determine if a hex is really warranted or not.
Protect then hex- if you are casting against someone who lives with children or pets, you may choose to do a protection working on them before performing your hex. The energy a hex has often affects other people around the recipient and children/animals do not deserve to be negatively affected by the actions of someone else.
