i was gonna make a joke but I think I’ll be genuine for this one — I think you should realize it’s energetically unfavorable to obsess/ruminate over someone who’s not spending nearly half as much time or energy over you. and their sexuality aside, if they’re already engaged then they’re very much concerned w somebody else… it should turn u off to be into someone who’s not into u back, not make u chase them even more. It should be a turnoff if someone isn’t into u like that, period, regardless of what context it. It should be the most revolting thing in the world. like u should find it so incredibly repulsive

I’m kind of amazed by just how well Princess Tutu’s male lead swap works. I think it’s in part because the relationship between Duck and Fakir is built up and important within the first arc. Fakir never existed as an extension of Mytho but as a character central to the emotional conflict of the series, so it never feels like Fakir comes out of nowhere in the second arc

I know this is kind of a weird way to try to get over a person, but I'm willing to do it. I've been losing My sanity slowly throughout the years, if I lose some more, then you know.....I have work to keep me distracted this time. And at least I can just. Talk to him. Instead of depriving myself of that because he's a good friend. I miss him so much.

I didn't know I needed a good cry until I started crying, but it felt really good to let go of all that and now I feel better.

Alright so I talked to my friend, who is a therapist, about my predicament with wanting to talk to the guy I love, but I'm not allowing myself to talk to him because I'm trying to get over him. I have felt so upset and sad and like i'm under pressure from something because I want to talk to him, but I'm not giving myself that luxury so I don't fall in love with him or get my hopes up. I talked to her and told her thé issues, and she advised me to talk to him. To reach out and give it a try, see where he is at, if he is single. And if he is, I can try again with him. If I don't, I will be left with this nagging "I didn't do it" feeling that will be with me forever, or a long time, and I won't get over it. But I should be prepared if he has a girlfriend. And to be prepared for rejection. So now that I have that open choice, I feel so at peace. I don't feel pressured anymore not do I feel so upset. I just. I guess I needed someone to tell me not to force myself to look away. Because it's really hurting me. And it put things into perspective, what will I gain when I do reach out to him? Will I be okay? Is it going to benefit me? But I feel so...relaxed. It's going to be okay.
