To say this is like a dream come true for Elphelt would be an understatement. How could she not be any more excited? The embodiment of rock & roll... in the flesh!

"Yes! I've been to almost every single one ever since I found out about you guys, your music really comes from the heart⸺I can tell! Whenever I hear you and Mylene sing... it's like I can feel it! Totsugeki Love Heart has to be my number one song!"

Jumping from one foot to the other, she seems like a child who just met their hero for the first time.

Violence has never been Elphelt's cup of tea, it's always a last resort kind of deal.

There are things, however, that cannot be overlooked, such as a clear as day bully doing what a bully does best; bullying those weaker than them.

"Pause⸺e!"

Elphelt calls out, a hand raised up to the heavens before it points to the villainess.

"That's no good, miss, if you go around messing with those around you, no one will like you! And you'll never find a husband⸺or a wife!"

Spouting nonsense as always, Elphelt's rifle is currently pointed at this mysterious woman.

Ever since things had quieted down with the Chess pieces defeat, the power vacuum had been tiring- new villains cropping up to prove themselves, some even with similar powers to graph others' powers to each other.

Thankfully not as morbid as the original villains, no limbs and body horror, just extra abilities, and with the U.S.A being so big, alot of the top heroes were spread thin, leaving the current gen heroes to fend for Portland, and themselves.

"GUH! Damnit!" Desmond was the only hero standing among fellow heroes who were fighting off a villain summoner who made a giant hermit crab like creature. "Not yet...it's not over yet!" Desmond wouldn't fall, these people and heroes were depending on him!

"Careful hero, I don't know the meaning of stop- this next move might be your last if you don't defend those other heroes." The villainess spoke as she rode the crab.

She was right, if Desmond did anything to attack her, he'd leave these heroes defenseless. As she charged Desmond defended them. "Damnit" He could really use a hand here!

As though she's just imparted sage advice, Elphelt nods a couple of times, arms crossed under her chest.

"Stars should be able to listen to their public's advice, we're playing for them, after all!"

❝ What do I think ? ? ❞ He is taken aback by the question. Usually nobody asks him for suggestions, & by his constant blank face & soft tone that lacks volume & intensity, there is a reason for that.

Music is food for the soul. Surely, someone out there has thought about that at least once, and if they haven't⸺Elphelt would never shy away from the opportunity of saying that it was her who said it first.

Trying new things always came naturally to her, no matter the circumstances. New food, new clothes, new adventures.

She could've easily decided to partake in something that aligned with her abilities. Instead, she went to the extreme, to where no one would've ever imagined her to go before.

"And thank you so much for coming!"

Somehow, it's fitting, her mannerisms. Her aura. The way she presents herself, it's like the last piece of the puzzle falling in place. This is where she belongs. Even if her dainty appearance doesn't fit the music she's singing.

She's always been like that, frills and guns. Pink and grenades. A walking contradiction.

A small live like this means that she can actually interact with her fans⸺well, the reality is that she doesn't need to worry about that. Despite appearances, Elphelt can take care of herself.

"Ah, I'm so glad you enjoyed the show!" And it shows, her expression is beaming the moment Mai's turn is up, Elph goes as far as to clap her hands, it's a wonder she's still this energetic after spending so much time on the scenario singing her heart out.

Mai wasn't a big fan of crowds. Not one bit... but once in a while, it doesn't hurt too much to take a singular step outside her comfort zone.

This was one of those times. Bass from subwoofers and each pound of the drummer's impeccable double-pedaling technique rocks her to her core, the cheerfully dissonant tones from the lead singer's vocals surprise her, and the guitarist's shredding ability nearly makes her headbang, but she refused. She couldn't. She didn't want to... kind of. Nevertheless, she was glad she took this step, especially since the act was new. Consider her pleasantly surprised, enough to mention her elation to the lead singer after the show was over.

An overdramatic reaction, he thought. But he supposed most stars carried a flamboyant persona. People aren't interested in personalities such as his own, they want character.
