Have the bit of Carlos' interview for sportweek that really broke my heart.
"You are in Ferrari since 2021, leaving at the end of the year won't be easy"
"I have mixed feelings. The three seasons in Maranello, working hard, living there, with the time spent at the factory, they helped improving the team. Now you can start to see the project growth, the car is better and i trust to drive it after it "incorporated" all the inputs that were given in the past. I feel happy but sad at the same time, cause we won't continue the journey together. Somehow we recently took the right path for the future, and it shows on track. But it's life, the way that life decided for me. It wasn't my decision, but maybe there will be something better incoming. When i look at the past, at the choices i made leaving Toro Rosso, Renault, Mclaren, I can see that everything had a reason. Maybe in after a while i will look back and i'll understand if leaving was worth it."
He also spent nice words for Ferrari and tifosi, talked about the relationship with his father, said the he was inspired by Rafael Nadal (who was a big inspo for Carlos Sr too), chatted a bit about fashion and style (he doesn't pay too much attention to it) and also confirmed that talkings for next year seat will still take a while (he isnt worried though)
