as someone who was taken advantage of by a lot of grown men on the internet and 0 bears, men are infinitely more likely to hurt you. Bears will either see you as a threat to themselves or their family's safety, food, or a creature in the distance. A man will see you as whatever he wants to see you as regardless of circumstance, and a fair amount of them see women (or in my case a young sexually confused child of 12) as an object for their pleasure. The morons above who decided that everyone is stupid for picking a bear because they have never been victims of men deserve to be put in stocks in the middle of town.

i'll be honest the "man vs bear" thing is so fucking funny like the only way you've never ran into a man in a forest is if you've never been in a forest. when i'm in a forest and i run into a man (happened so far every time i've been hiking in a forest) what happens is i say "good morning" and he says "good morning" and then we continue on our way. on the other hand if i ran into a bear in the forest i would shit myself.
