I was reading this Lestappen fic on ao3, it was max going to charles' hotel room, angry about something during the race. And charles had a crying baby in his arms and max continued to help raise the baby. But then charles was trying not to be too connected to max but his baby was the one that was already connected to max. It was really cute and I really want to re-read it but I can't seem to find it.

Oh, I'm not sure! Does anybody know?

I remember reading a lestappen fic on ao3 where Max had retired and Charles was racing in Redbull after Ferrari replaced him with Ollie however I cannot recall which it was and I really want to find it to re read it :(

Hi im trying to find a fanfic where A sextape or pictures of max and someone are doing the deed come out from the press. He dates or pretend dates Daniel and a press conference happens and a reporter a asks a dumb question about how he likes older men and he responds with a how old are you because youre fit. I been trying to find this fic for ages because it popped into my head one day and now it won't go away.

hi! I read a fanfic a while back but I can't find it anymore, I was hoping someone could help me?

it was a Carlos Sainz Jr. fic, it was inspired by the song Mastermind by Taylor Swift and the author had a whole series of fics inspired by Taylor's songs. also it had a pretty layout lol.

I saw some people here asking why Charlos doesn’t have many fics despite their very homoerotic interactions and the main reasons I can think of are these:

1. Carlando

2. Lestappen, Piarles, Sebchal

3. many people tend to ship the 2 people they like the most. Lots of Charles fans don’t really like Carlos (maybe vice-versa but I’m not sure)

I think also that Charlos is still a relatively new ship -- the very first fic was posted in December 2019, however the second wasn't posted until June 2020, and the third (that wasn't a collection) wasn't until December 2020. All other ships have quite a few fics before the Charlos tag even gets established.

From 7/24 (when I started tracking) to 10/3 -- Charlos had 46 new fics posted which is 8th of all fics I track.

But also, you aren't wrong because all four of the fics you mentioned have had more new fics tagged in the same time frame than Charlos!

I’m not sure if other people experience this but as much as I love cute interactions and ships, there are times when I get bothered when people try to make serious or clearly distressing moments into a shippy moment. I don’t want to police anybody and what they do, but a driver going “is he okay?” after seeing somebody hit the wall is just common decency and concern and not a “awwww 🥰 them 🥺” thing. I just feel like incidents and crashes, even minor ones, shouldn’t be taken lightly or should be viewed under a romantic lens but that’s just me maybe I’m being too sensitive.

OH this is interesting because like this is apart of like, the ethics of rpf and shipping, yeah?

And it's like, where is the line?

I think -- at least for me -- I don't mind when fic writers write the distressing moments because they do tend to do them justice with proper emotions and hold the proper weight for the situations but yeah, I do not quite care for the general like TL discussions, if that makes sense?

okay so there are two ongoing fics that I'm reading right now:

Green Cars which is a IndyCar!Mick fic where he and Callum Ilott are teammates. Very good, would love to befriend the author but they are anon.

Shackles of Identity which is also a Schulott fic where Mick struggles with his sexual identity. The author had dropped off for a long while but they're back with updates and I'm siked!
