naoya is spoiled, so it doesn't come as a surprise to know that he has always been able to get what he wants, and that nothing has changed since he was a child

with this in mind, he would definitely not be shy about pda, unless you're both in a proper environment like a clan meeting i guess...

this could pretty much be any character icl, but i feel like it's mainly yuuji?? just cos its still such a weirdly positive song for how dark the lyrics actually are. that said, it could also be gojo,, mainly just because i feel like he would be able to see the parallels between megumi, yuuji, and nobara compared to his own high school friend group, and he seems reminiscent like 89% of the time.

idk why but i just feel like megumi would listen to bad blood? and also cos of the semantics of the lyrics!! basically it's the breakdown of a relationship, and i think it could def be applied to him and his childhood. and it could also be applied to the whole thing he has with sukuna and everything that he's done while being possessed(?),, and the deterioration of his relationship with himself.

overjoyed

this song is sosososooo angsty like?? but yeah, it fits all three gojo and geto and shoko!! it probs most applies to gojo and his feelings/emotions towards geto after his departure and the mass murdering thing he did. def a song i would sob to icl

weight of living

this fits nanami and shoko scarily well, like you can't convince me otherwise. those two with their eyebags and stuff definitelyyyy have heavier emotional baggage than they let on about their friends and death and stuff. that's ignoring that they're canonically the heaviest drinkers or wtv!!!

oblivion

oblivion is heavily implied to follow the story of a couple (whether platonic or romantic) where one is thinking about the other and the loss of them. it's vvv emotional and probs something that gojo would never listen to unless he was alone and properly in a sad mood, but it fits them scarily well imo.

get home

it fits nanami weirdly well? along with gojo (but, at this point, pretty much every song fits him lol), megumi, and yuuta i think? megumi mainly because of his lack of current ambition to continue living, and all that he's been through recently. and then yuuta fits this song in the period around rika dying?

poet

I LOVE THIS SONG SM okay, so i think it fits yuuta!!! like the period of time just after jjk0 where he sees rika for the final time and accepts her death and all that came with it. but it's definitely a more positive song, and could also acknowledge his development as he gains friends and accepts his new version of life!

what would you do

the woman being described in this kind of reminds me of toji, but i don't know if thats me being delusional about him actually trying to be a good father. the speaker would probably represent gojo, but him as a teenager as it kind of seems like a more immature pov.

this song is literally depicting a couple as they stay together, even after death so it doesn't need to be said butttt, gojo and geto for sure!! along with nanami and haibara i think too!

firefighter! yuuji who first met you, his now-lover, when your cat was stuck up the tree courtesy of your new neighbour's children. of course, they didn't mean any harm, but that didn't change the fact that they had chased your poor cat up a tree in an attempt to pet it. however, all your aggravation melts when you make eye contact with yuuji as he directs his friend to get out their truck's ladder.

firefighter! yuuji who approaches you with your cat snuggled in his arms once he has retrieved it, all of the children and his partner leaving the scene. you can't help but admire his features under the dimming sun: the way that his eyes squint as he smiles a smile that rivals the sun, and the way that his arms are slightly tensed so that they are just visible.

firefighter! yuuji who hands you your cat back with a charming grin, stating that he would love to see you again soon, just in better circumstances. of course, you agree and quickly jot down your number on the back of his hand. you two were both lovestruck, as yuuji's co-worker and onlooker to the scene would later claim, but it was okay. because it was you and yuuji.

firefighter! yuuji who can't wait to call you, so much so that he does so later that evening. unbothered by any thoughts of being needy or too keen, yuuji ends up talking to you for several hours about miscellaneous stuff and you both quickly and mutually agree that you need to spend more time together. there seemed to be something so uncommon (yet not unwanted) that made you both so enamoured by each other within only a few hours of meeting.

firefighter! yuuji who can't help but admire you whenever and wherever you are. it doesn't matter if you're at home or on the train, yuuji will not forget to admire all of your features: whether you find them pleasant or not. and, whilst he does understand that you have insecurities, he simply cannot agree that any part of you is any less than perfection.

It’s early in the hours of the day when Inumaki wakes up on his own. The sky is still dark, but the sun is just about to peak past the horizon, giving the sky a soft blue color that hints at its arrival.

Inumaki turns in his bed, now facing you. With your eyes closed and your lips slightly parted, he couldn’t help but think about how absolutely adorable you looked right now. As time ticked by and his eyes never left you, he began to feel the urge to squeeze you, lovingly, of course. He tried to resist, not wanting to interrupt your much-needed rest, but he couldn’t help it, slowly raising his hands to cup your cheeks. The sudden warmth from his hands feels nice, causing you to unconsciously nuzzle into them. He gives a few squeezes, watching as your cheeks squish between his hands.

The movement causes you to slowly open your eyes, meeting Inumaki’s own violet eyes. “Good morning.” You smile, struggling to keep your eyes open. As much as your body begged you to go back to sleep, you wanted to admire your lover for a little while longer.

Inumaki kept his eyes on you as he felt a warmth begin to bloom in his chest. Gently, he pulls you closer and begins to pepper your face with kisses. The sudden affection catches you off guard and causes you to laugh. “What’s gotten into you?”

He doesn’t answer, instead wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you close. He buries his face in your neck as he squeezes you. Still confused, you wrap your arms around him to return his hug. You were beginning to grow a little concerned when he didn’t let go. “Toge? Are you okay? Did you have a nightmare?”

“Okaka.”

If possible, he squeezed you even tighter. As much as you appreciated the affection, you were beginning to suffocate. “Toge, love,” you pat his back, “as much as I love this, I can’t breathe.”

Hearing your words, Inumaki loosens his grip, looking up to meet your gaze. “Seriously though, what’s gotten into you? You sure you’re okay?” You ask softly, running your fingers through his hair. He pulls away for a moment to sign to you.

‘Just wanted to give you hugs and kisses.’

You can’t help but giggle at his reasoning. “Seriously? That’s why you almost crushed me to death?”

Inumaki huffed, tightening his grip on you once again. You laugh before wrapping your arms around him and kissing his head. “I don’t mind, just try not to kill me next time.”

“Shake.”

the third part of my "dating headcanons" series! ages ago, i got an ask for me to do more, but i kind of lost it :( i hope you like it though!!

so, it's no secret that i highly favour toge out of every character in jjk, but i promiseeeee it's (kind of) for good reason

like, he just seems so sweet, can you really blame me?? and him as your boYFRIEND??? sign me up 🤭

in terms of how you would treat each other, i feel like all of your classmates would be sick of just how much you love each other lol

like, they'll be sitting outside or training and look over to you and toge when neither of you have said anything for a while, only to see the two of you cuddling and sharing your food

however!!!! you both know the time and place to do such things, and often only engage in that sort of pda when you want to purposefully annoy the others (mainly maki) or when either of you is tired

the others won't admit it but they do sometimes find you two cute

you probably sneak away from your group of friends when you're all watching a film to just go to one of your rooms and relax (maybe do skin care or just chat about your days)

you both are a sort of therapy to each other, but in a healthy way where you can joke about it whilst being supportive of each other's struggles

sometimes, when toge is insecure about his cursed speech or how communication in general is sometimes a trouble for him, he'll come to you for cuddles (which you obvs give cos who wouldn't??) and just confirmation that he is enough

those times are when you both adore each other more than you thought was possible <33

apart from that,, i feel like you would organise, at least once a week, to go out together

whether that's just walking, or visiting a cafe, or getting lunch at a store, it's the day that you both have together and one where you get to actually act like your ages!!!

even though you both think it's a secret, the other students are more than aware that you go out but also don't care enough to tell anyone or stalk you two

they secretly think it's sweet

but yeah, the two of you are a really wholesome couple?? but you're both way more chaotic when you're around the others lol

o.yuuta

so, regarding your relationship with yuuta, it starts off a bit rocky??

like, with the whole thing with rika and her as his first love and her curse, yuuta is more than cautious when he recognises that he likes you

you'd probably have to make the first move: reassuring him that no, he wasn't going to curse you with his love and that you were more than okay with entering a relationship with him

he's still scared, but is also aware that if not now, when?

there's quite a few hurdles in your relationship to begin with

like,,, yuuta was basically isolated and bullied for a good part of his childhood and now?? it was a sudden leap (but obvs not unwelcome)

but once you two have overcome those problems and you're both more comfortable and secure when speaking to each other, your relationship really begins to blossom!! <33

you probably both spar and train together regularly

at first it was so that you could help yuuta quickly improve his combat skills, but it soon turned into you both helping each other out in certain aspects

another reason why you trained together so often was obviously so that you could hang out without the others questioning or being nosy about your relationship

with toge and panda, along with their curiosity, i could envision them trying to find out where you both were going and lowkey interrogating and cornering yuuta when he's getting ready (but in a joking way!!)

they often end up being chased away by maki who just wants both you and yuuta to be more confident in dating each other already

no matter her cause, both you and yuuta are thankful towards her lolol

when you do go out, i feel like you'd just go for walks in the local park and feel ducks, or something quite peaceful

with your lifestyles, i mean... you wouldn't complain if you both do something quite relaxing and calm for once

also watching sunsets and sunrises together has become a hobby for you!!!

idk,, you and yuuta have a very normal relationship?? but in a way that just makes you love each other more and appreciate the smaller things in your lives <333

seatmate! megumi who lends you a pencil, or pen, or rubber, or sharpener whenever you forget yours. he'll rarely acknowledge your reaction: silently handing it over to you as though it was yours to begin with. megumi never asks for it back either, brushing off your attempts to return his items with a small "you can keep it."

seatmate! megumi who helps you with anything you're stuck on with little-to-no asking from you. instead, he just simply sides a bit closer to you (his worksheet in hand, and his eyes set on how you're anxiously biting your lip) and lays his notes between the two of you: openly providing you with the answers. sure, megumi will make a half-joking comment about you being dumb but he'll secretly be thankful for the opportunity to talk to you.

seatmate! megumi who, whenever your teacher is picking on people randomly and you don't know the answer, will subtly murmur it under his breath, just loud enough for you to hear. after the whole ordeal (where you answered correctly thanks to megumi!!) you'll turn to thank him, only to notice that he's already looking at you with the ghost of a smile lining his lips.

seatmate! megumi who, after liking you from afar for so long, is taken aback when you suddenly confess your wishes to go to a cafe with him. his mouth opens and closes for a minute like a fish before he regains his facade of coolness and warily nods his head. his acceptance is obviously rich with hesitance, his fear of you pranking him ripe, but he chastises himself when he sees you waiting patiently at your planned cafe.

seatmate! megumi who has a dark pink blush coating his cheeks whenever he thinks of you, to the point where his friends nudge and tease him whenever you're within ten metres of them.

crying rn bc of this concept but it's okay 😭

this contains angst w/ no comfort!!! be warned, and also the reader and gojo are both kind of mean to each other??

this post also contains swearing and some spoilers in terms of geto and gojo, and it also heavily implies that gojo romantically loved geto (canon divergence?)

you had had a long day by the time you returned home. it wasn't any different from your usual day where you would get up, shower, go to work, come home, eat, and sleep, but it didn't make it any less tiring. you were tired: of the repetitive schedule, of the hilariously horrifying amount of work you were enlisted to do, and of the white-haired male that you called your boyfriend.

"didn't expect to see you so soon." you commented after noticing gojo splaying out over your sofa. "aren't you meant to be teaching or on a mission right now?"

there was a long pause, filled with nothing but the soft sounds of the evening breeze rustling your blinds. this awkward silence was nothing new, you returning to it every day at 5pm, but it took some time to get used to. after all, gojo never used to go to your apartment but rather to someone else's.

it took a while before your boyfriend said anything, his figure stagnant on the couch. though (after a couple more seconds as you removed your shoes and coat) he shifted so that he was now facing the ceiling. "the kids are on a mission together. for the experience."

"gojo!" you agitated voice rung out as you hastily paced towards his place on the sofa, yanking him up so that he was sitting. "what are you thinking? you can't send them on a mission after last time, are you insane?! you know how dangerous it is right now, and you think that a bunch of teenagers will be able to protect themselves?"

"just leave it alone." the white-haired male, unusually unexpressive, rolled his eyes at you prior to attempting to lay back down — until you tugged his shirt so he was sitting upright once more.

you were certain that you looked a mess with worry, a stark contrast to the man just opposite you. but who could blame you after last week, where megumi, nobara, and yuuji were all attacked by an unknown special grade curse out of nowhere. it took someone with no functional brain to assign them a mission by themselves so soon after the attack.

"are you not thinking? have you somehow lost what little brain you already had? do you have any idea how badly you've fucked up? they're kids! they aren't professionals like us, and they won't be for some time but you, gojo, you think it's okay to just send them to their possible deaths?! just, for once think about—"

"i miss him."

there was a pregnant pause once gojo had cut you off: your mouth still open from where he had cut you off in your rant. as much as it pained you to admit, you were aware just how much he weighed on satoru's mind, his laugh and little habits engrained into his memory in hopes that it could bring him back. but it wouldn't, and it couldn't. not now that things had gone too far and he was not even able to be saved.

"he's dead." you stated the obvious, still annoyed from the man's recklessness concerning his students, one of which was his adopted "son." "he's gone, and no matter how much you mope around and try to ignore it, he'll never come back. geto's dead."

"DON'T USE HIS NAME!" suddenly gojo was off the couch and towering over you, his breath huffing out of his mouth with agitation. "you're wrong, he has to be alive. i know he's alive."

with that, the man backed away and fell onto the sofa once more, this time sitting with his head in his hands. the sight was horrendous; having known gojo a large majority of your life, it was horrible to have to see him in such a state. but something had to change, he had to wake up from the ideal fantasy he had convinced himself of. "we both know that's not the truth, satoru, no matter how much you wish it was."

the man sobbed, his hands burying themselves deeper into the skin of his face in an attempt to block out whatever you were saying.

seating yourself beside him, and comfortingly rubbing a hand up and down his arm, you continued. "he's dead, and no one can do anything about it. the most you can do is remember him in a positive light, and honour his memories by spreading more... happy messages of him from when you were younger."

"i loved— no, i love him." satoru sobbed, not realising how (despite knowing this for years, decades) your heart slowly shattered at the wording. "i— i love him, even if he's dead."

"and that's okay." you replied, ignoring the feeling of your own tears gathering and gradually streaming down your face in the realisation that your boyfriend, your supposed love, will never truly be yours. "it's okay."

note | sorry for being dead. got discouraged from posting bc my stuff won’t show up in tags if i have any links 💀 idk if im shadow banned (how does one tell?🙃) or maybe tumblr is just being dumb.. anyways i kinda gave up at the end idk if you can tell

“I love you.”

His words of affection broke the peaceful air. The trees stopped rustling and the cicadas stopped their summer song. It seemed as though even the world became quiet to listen to his confession.

You could only stare in surprise. When Yuuta had asked you to hang out one final time before he left for training you were expecting a sad talk about his journey to becoming a jujutsu sorcerer, not a confession.

The world grew impatient at your lack of response. A gentle breeze started up again, a little fiercer than before, and Yuuta’s freshly cut hair moved along with it. You remember the day Maki told you about Yuuta getting his haircut. You nearly dropped to your knees in the middle of practice at the news.

This is it! You thought. He’ll come in with an ugly haircut and I’ll finally get over him!

What you weren’t expecting was him to look even better with his new haircut. You didn’t know whether to cry out in joy or pain. Maki could only roll her eyes at your exaggerated response while Panda and Inumaki snickered on the sidelines.

After that day Yuuta seemed to carry himself differently. He stood straight and no longer mumbled when talking to others. Yuuta’s gentle eyes still remained the same, but now there was a determined look in them. Those same eyes stared deeply into your own, waiting patiently for a response.

You almost forgot you were in the middle of a confession.

You opened your mouth but no sound left it. You wanted to respond, you truly did, but you were scared. Curse Yuuta, why did he have to drop something that big before he left. If you hadn’t known this information his departure would have hurt less. You would have eventually gotten over your feelings and moved on, maybe. Now you’ll be forced to live without him, imagining what could have been if you had taken the risk and said something earlier.

Yuuta noticed your hesitation to speak and gently grabbed your hands with his. You failed to notice the shake of his hands, focusing more on how cold they were. Was it always this cold during the summer?

“(Y/n)? Are you alright?”

Alright? How could you be alright? The moment you find out your love is reciprocated he has to leave. Your heart ached, already missing him despite him being right in front of you. It felt as though he was miles away from your reach.

“Please don’t leave.” You whispered, afraid if you said it any louder your heart would be forced to accept reality and the tears building up in your eyes would spill.

Yuuta gripped your hands tighter. “I’m sorry, but I have to.” He let go of your hand and cupped your cheek. You allowed yourself to accept the affection, nuzzling into his hand. His hands were warmer now.

“I promise I’ll come back, stronger than before, and when I do, I will still love you the same.” He whispered, placing his forehead on yours.

That night your love left, taking your heart with him with the promise of returning.

you cannot tell me that choso doesn't love to cuddle with you. and, whilst he is often too shy to initiate anything outside of the comfort of your home, he is more than happy to scoop you up into his arms when you're in the kitchen, living room, bedroom, or even when you're trying to do some extra work. choso will respect your boundaries, but he's also aware of what is best for you and, in this case as your shivering from the cold air of your apartment, he takes it upon himself to wrap his arms around you. smiling as you relax into his frame, choso would bury his nose into your hair as you uttered a small phrase of appreciation for his presence.

mahito

mahito would initially wonder why your body is shaking when you're not fearing your life but, once he turns his attention to you rather than the programme playing on the tv, he realises that you're freezing. whilst he is obviously concerned that you're shaking because you're cold, mahito will take it upon himself to tease you about the uncontrollable shivers that are racking your body whilst he discreetly pulls throw that was over the end of your shared couch onto your frame. if you notice and make any indication that you noticed what your lover had done, he will just as quickly pull you into a suffocating hug in an attempt to hush your teasing.

toji strikes me as someone who isn't always one for physical touch; someone who is very mood-based. so, as you're huddling into yourself on the sofa and he enters your apartment, it will go one of two ways: either he would carelessly chuck a spare blanket onto you, or he would take it upon himself to become your personal heater. and it just so happened that today was a good day for him. when toji notices that you are reasonably cold from the way your hands have adopted an icier temperature than usual, he cups his hands over and around yours before tugging you to cuddle up closer to him. on the rare occasion where you may voice your embarrassment masked as annoyance, toji would mutely pinch your side with a smirk lining his lips.

whilst sukuna would never lose an opportunity to mock you for something, he does know when it is an appropriate time to do so. and, in his mind, watching you shiver uncontrollably on the sofa was not one of those occasions because of the protectiveness that was stirring in his stomach. for that reason, sukuna decides that he is going to replace the plushie that you're cuddling too tightly for his liking — though he would never openly admit that he is jealous of an inanimate object. he will tear the stuffie out of your arms if need be: hastily replacing the empty space with his body as he cuddles you close.
