On a shard day you could sit on the gate at Home or Aviary with the red crystals growing on it. They will drain your light until you lose wings, maybe that would work?

ETA: nvm there's probably too much background noise

Pleh, getting a good version of the sound that plays when you lose a winged light is gonna be hard. I already have one version obtained by staying underwater, but the quality isn't great since the sounds of losing light was also mixed with the water sounds + the wind.

There aren't that many alternatives (if any...) alternatives I can think of that can yield good results. The krill STAR pin would easily solve this problem, but as far as I can tell that one's only included in the Box of Courage that TGC sells. Might leave this one up to the bounty board for now...
