I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

By the way at some point in the story, after dimensional travel is a thing most of the characters know, the characters will learn about the nowhere and the everywhere and the somewhere

The somewhere is where they live, its where the universe keeps it’s stuff, so, and there are multiple of it, so like, their dimension is a somewhere, the magic dimension is a somewhere, the alien one is also a somewhere and so on

The nowhere is a place with the least amount of info about, and that’s because anything gets in doesn’t go out, it gets destroyed in it (unless you’re a chaos being but we don’t talk about them-)

The everywhere is, as in it name, everywhere technically, but it’s used to describe the in between of the nowhere and the everywhere

The everywhere holds everything together and stops the somewhere and the nowhere from colliding, which is really good! Also it’s inhabitants are either people who travel dimensions, don’t have a (live able) universe, or 4th walls breaker who got sick and tired of their story (but you won’t see much of them, they really hate readers/watchers, it’s why they decided to live their to begin with )

In filontinpolis there are many supernatural things going on, and among them, I decided to add few twists here and there, just some theories that slept rent free in my mind for a while, or ideas inspired by from other peoples too, like :

Mermers (mermaids) : they don’t age, and they used to be normal humans that were sacrificed to the ocean in exchange of better weather, how do they die when not killed? Well, they slowly turn to salt, until they are just salt rocks in the shape of mermaids, then they dissolve in the ocean

Blood suckers (vampires) : they are witches who altered their bodies to become an altar for blood sacrifices, think about it, that way they can just get stronger and faster and even transform into other animals without spells or rituals, since only really strong witches can cast spells fast, it was better for them to just become who they are and punch through stuff, the way to alter their bodies are long since lost, and those who are suspected to know it just deny it. It would explain why they need so much blood even with how peaceful it is these past few decades, cause even not aging takes blood, healing takes blood, punching strongly takes blood, so they drink blood and store it in their bodies. Also these days they just buy blood from hospitals

Ghosts(phantoms) : ok hear me out, hear me out, they are made out of light and heat. And to stay they absorb light and heat, which would explain why the places they hunt are so cold, and why when they pass through someone, that person shivers, it’s cause they absorbed the heat out of the person! That’s also explains why they glow in the dark and can pass through stuff. But it takes a bit of concentration to pass through more solid stuff tho

Also, the strongest kind of ghost are mermers ghost. Why? Cause what are you gonna do? Throw salt at them? They are already used to salt ( they live in the freaking ocean). Gonna throw holy water? Again, they can handle it too. You can’t exorcise them that easily cause they can handle most of these stuff

Black cats are the strongest exorcists by the way. They just are. And yes they have nine lives and can see ghosts, and gets quit annoyed at foolish human exorcist who don’t understand half the things they are trying to do. (With exception of course, there are some not so foolish humans who the cats can respects) (yes most cats are tsunderes)

The second plot is more of a vigilante kind of thing kind of plot, with the main characters being :

The trio friends : hoody ( cy older brother) ginger (a relative of lucky) and nin

Shot or gunshot( that’s his nickname for now, will change it later hopefully) : a rogue who will do any job perfectly as written in the description, maybe a bit mor Eid he feels like it

The madman : a scientist who may or may not be the one who cause hoody to get his powers

The pizza : a pizza chain full of people who protects the underground secrets from the daylight people, ginger and his family are in it, in fact they are the bosses of it

The guards : an organization that works in secret, manipulating filontinpolis and trying to make it “perfect”, unfortunately their cause needs sacrifices, nin and her clan is with them

The blood clan : nin’s family clan and they have the power to make their blood poisonous, thus using it in their kills ( nin is very talented at it, but she doesn’t have the best relationship with her family)

The k.i.d : a group of agents in the guards, made of the top kids agent (nin is with them)

Minor characters that will appear here and there:

Exel : gunshot ex lover, kinda crazy and can manipulate her hair as she pleases

Drows/drowsy : ginger brother who left the family years ago

The phantom witch : a witch who makes deals with lost souls and control them at her will (she is very very old and very strong )

There are multiple plots in filontinpolis and at some point out of it, like the isekai war between the magicless and the magic full people, the mermaids fortress secrets, the nowhere place with the chaos beings, and more, but you need to understand that the whole shenanigans started with a simple slice of life plot about middle schoolers making friend and learning about life. It’s the school life plot.

The school life plot started with the triplets moving into filontinpolis and making friends, and each friend have their own life and battles, like, there is cy :she is very anxious and shy and is trying to be more of an outgoing person, there is geni: trying to continue her life normally after losing her dad, there is leader: trying to stop being so violent to not get in anymore troubles, there is the triplets: thinking they are only special because they are triplets, yet somehow still mostly condensing to others ( yeah they aren’t exactly good people,,,) , there is lucky: trying to sho people she is working just as hard to be this perfect, etc etc

Of course it’s not outright obvious, it will take a while to understand and see it in these characters, that’s why it’s a slice of life with questionable comedy

Filontinpolis has few weird “rules” that is different than ours, and the outsiders (aka those who came from outside like the triplets and glitch) spend most of the stories trying to either understand them (glitch) or just try and find more differences cause it’s fun (triplets)

Some of those “rules” (they aren’t exactly rules but I can’t think of a better word right now ) :

1- Others don’t use your birth name unless it’s your family members or friends so close they could be called your family, and they usually only use it in private places, hence why everyone has nicknames

2- It’s something that won’t be said until a bit later in the story (when glitch comes) but you have to cover your wrist until marriage, the triplets don’t notice cause they just thought it’s a fashion choice to some, and they never showed their wrist cause they wear jackets (they get easily cold)

3- When marrying someone, you don’t wear rings, you wear bracelets made or chosen by your lover

4- Pinky swear is a sacred form of making a promise. You have to take it seriously

5- Taxes are given based on each family wealth and numbers of members

6- A kiss to the lips means “please marry me” which is why your first kiss is really important there

7- teenage girls are sacred too cause that’s the age their most famous goddesses when they appeared hundreds of years ago

8 - anything involving fire that isn’t cooking a meal is prohibited and hated with the goddesses followers, which mean no bonfire unless you’re cooking, so yeah be prepared to eat all night. Also no smoking

These are just few rules I could remember right now and I thing they are most of them so yeah

Just to be clear, the nickname thingy is just for people in their universe, in the other universe ( where the isekai girl lives ) people have actual name, like :

Akron : the isekai girl who was born in the wrong body, this name is her male counterpart

Eniora : the younger sister of Akron

Terra : an anímale tribe important figure, she was one of the leading heads who set a war on filontinpolis (they all went back to their dimension after the fight btw)

Tox : also from the animals tribe people, she works at a brothel ( and is a part of a rebellious organization who want to overthrow the current government in the name of equality for all )

V : a human artificer who was raised by a dwarf. She is really good at her work and is magicless

Roy : a homeless magicless boy born after the (for now nameless) organization made their intentions clear, will grow up and lead the ‘soulles strays’ group with his friend against both the kingdom government and the organization

Fyi : Roy friend, was born magicless in a noble family, thus they threw her out once it was clear she won’t develop magic

Treg : an unclear being? Not entirely human, maybe some kind of animal tribe mutations? (if only they knew…) treg gender isn’t clear and Akron refuse to misgender them, while V just call them an it. Btw they always wear some weird fur that cover most of them

And that’s just few that are actually named

Fun fact! In filontinpolis you don’t use your real name unless you’re a family member or a really really close friend (yes this is an excuse to not think of names but can you blame me?)

And you get your nickname from the people around you! Some nicknames will stay for the rest of your life, and sometimes it changes every year ( tho very rarely, it mostly stick)

So my characters name are essentially this :

The triplets : they are called 1, 2 and 3. No one is sure if the order is right. They are our first outsiders

The time traveler used to be named gamer, but then once he becomes a time traveler (which happens later in the story ) he gets nicknamed time boy. It’s a prank that sticked.

4th : short for 4th wall breaker, and yes she is the character that breaks the 4th wall the most. How did she get her nickname? Well, when she was young she accidentally broke 4 walls. Don’t ask. (Same friend group of triplets)

Glitch : the second outsider, got her name cause she somehow made her computer and half of the other computers glitch barely a week after her arrival (same friend group as the triplets)

Hoody : one of the best friends trio who always wears hoody, hence the name

Ginger : one of the best friends trio. And it’s cause he has orange hair

Nin : short for ninja, one of the trio best friends, was nicknamed based on how sometime she just snuck up behind you and scare the ever loving strawberry out of you

Love : the girl who falls in love so easily and understand love more than anyone her age! She is really optimistic

Cupid : he is a cupid but all the relationships he tried to set up till now failed spectacularly, which is why he is following love around to understand relationships better

Cy : short for something that she isn’t ready to share with the others, she ie 4th best friend and in the same friend group as the triplets. Most think that’s simply her nickname (same friend group of triplets)

Geni : she is a genius hence the name, she loves music and her curiosity will lead to her fixing a dimensional portal and starting the real thick plot of the story( in the same friend group of the triplets too)

Writer : she is time boy older sister and writes book and work at a bar for a living. Her books are a big hit

The cast is so big and have so much variety, these are few example of characters in it :

A girl who fall so easily in love and her Cupid friend who is trying to make her avoid red flags in possible partners. Funnily enough, when it comes to relationship advice, she is the best out of the two of them ( as long as it’s not her relationship that she is advising, u know )

A trio best friends who all have secret identities in the underworld and hide it from each other. They are also each on a different side ( and big idiots too )

A time traveler, who is just too overworking himself to get the best possible future. It’s important to say that said future has to have the second version of his favorite game or else god help him he will burn the world and start over again

A triplets, who are new to the place and keep making funny mistakes at the language, loves embarrassing other people and writing (they are also very good at scheming plans, even if they can be a big idiotic some times)

A detective who can see ghosts and can’t say no to save his life. He is also so in love with his girlfriend it’s cringe ( they are the only canon relationship cause I can’t do romance at all )

An isekai girl in another universe who was born in a male body and is trying to make a potion to get her a female body ( yes she cross dress and fake an identity when doing so, only her sister know ) . She also makes money of selling rocks and writing plays based of soap opera she remembers seeing in her past life

And that’s just few characters, I mean, I haven’t even talking about the 4th wall breaking character who is mostly there to make sure the genre doesn’t change to a dangerous one. She is the comic relief

The place was called filontinpolis and the cast just got bigger and bigger every time I think of the plot, and at some point we got out of the school life comedy genre to a full out war between dimensional animal people and alternate universes and odd places and the like, the story have wild variety of characters, with no exact obvious main character. It got out of hand real quick. I think it’s cause I wanted to have as many story as possible in it so that I never get bored of it, cause I used to mostly think about the stories before sleeping

Ever since like eighth or ninth grade I had this idea of a weird town city country thing that’s mostly hidden from the outside world where a bunch of 8th or 7th graders just become friends with triplets who are new to the place, and the story kinda started with following the daily life of these kids navigate the school that have a bunch of different rules different to theirs. The story shall also be a comic
