Hey if every abnormality gained a humanoid form, then what happened to Nothing There? Wasn’t their whole thing trying to become a human? How are they faring?

;;Hey! Been a while. I'm still hanging around and I'm going to make an announcement kinda thing here.

Let's start off with no, this blog isn't going anywhere. In fact, I would like to revisit it and I am planning to overhaul the blog. The story thus far will remain the same, so nothing will be changing too much! Just enough that I'll be able to take care of this blog a bit better in the future.

I'm going to start off by overhauling the "Librarians" list to include profiles on the characters. Alongside that, I'm going to clear up the inbox a bit since there are questions in here that have been sitting a little while. I'm going to be keeping the inbox opened during this, but if there comes a point where I get too much to deal with, I will close it.

You may also notice a shift in art style as I may be shifting to using my own personal style. I still plan on doing some stuff with the Ruina style, but to make things easier on me, I'll save it for special events and the like.

I want to do my best with keeping this blog active, but I will state that I still work a full-time job and thus you'll notice time to time I'll respond to perhaps a bit more with only text and images from the game or something else. As we approach the holiday season, I'll get a bit busier at work as a small heads up... Regardless, though, I wanna hang on a bit more here!

"Old friends...?"

Locke would go silent for a bit, not even noticing they had begun raising their own hand to hold their head.

The patron librarian would slowly hum. "...I had two friends at my old branch. We all were clerks. Aronas and Saeko- they called us the "Tricolor Troublesome Trio. Triple T or Triple Threat depending on what you thought. We were called that because of the fact I was in Disicplinary, Aronas was Central Command, and Saeko was in Welfare. Truth be told... it was because of Aronas we became infamous... Ahaha..."

"Then there was Chrissy, the Training team head. I only knew her because my brother liked her. She was sweet and... helped prepare me for when I switched locations. Though- I remember she made me walk with an ALEPH at one point... No one got hurt, but..." Locke would soon look away. "As for this place-"

"...No one here likes to deal with me. Whenever I arrive on the other floors, they all kind of... hide away from me. Those that don't either tend to just stare while ignoring me or even call me a traitor. Even some of the abnormalities-" The librarian would explain, giving a small, sad look. "...I think the only floor that I can walk on without such things is Binah’s floor. I don't talk much with them, but it feels a bit less threatening on that floor. Even if the place itself is... extremely intense. I don't remember too much about the people here, just that those that were in Exreaction always scared me. Guess it'd make sense I'd still be on edge."

"...There is this one girl I remember, but whenever I bring her up, people get mad. That's when they bug me. I remember she was a kind person... I try finding her here, but no dice. I know she would have been with Chesed, if everyone else still stays on their original teams." Locke would give a pained look. "I could ask Yesod or Hokma for any information seeing as what they controlled before, but... Something inside of me is telling me I shouldn't remember. I just know... Her name is Fi."

"...Maybe one day I'll see her again..."

"The little monkey?"

"I believe they're referring to Titi-Tata. The conjoined monkey that Emma and Noah perform with." File gave a small nod. "They are still present as part of the show acts. In fact, we do have some of the members of the 8 o'Clock Circus back when the Library had faced them in combat."

"In order to combat homesickness, they've been given permission to do circus shows every so often. Not many are in attendance, but I believe the more child-like abnormalities such as O-01-67 and O-01-55 enjoy the merriment in these shows."

Locke gave a weird look, pursing their lips. "The monkey... All I've heard from my fellow librarians is that they're "as annoying as ever" which... W-well... I don't mean to sound rude, but-"

"...They are quite loud."

;;Hey guys! I've been a bit quiet on here. Between my full-time job and a few other things that have been going up and down in my life, I haven't had much time to really do much on the blog. That being said- one of the projects I've been working on is a mod for the Floor of Inhumanities

It's still in beta and there are things I've changed since the release, but this is namely to gather any sort of feedback if there's any changed that should be made dice wise and the like. There's still some things missing such as a final cutscene as well as a few combat pages, namely File's, that need to be implemented.

You can get the mod here! Warnings include the typical for LC/LOR (Combat pages depicting images of violence, blood, and there is a syringe in one of Locke's combat pages that will be removed in the final release) as well as possible canon breaking stories, but you guys probably knew that already 💙

I will still be working on the mod itself, but I do want to answer questions again! They might not be in image format as before, but I hope you guys understand ;;/ I have a lot I'm doing both irl and working out for the mod itself.

(Apologies for taking so long, kind of got busy and realised I had no clue what to do next, then anxiety happened where I got paranoid about sending the next bit because it took too long)

"Honestly, I think I've got all the information needed now, if you want we can finish up, and if needs be explain a few things going on outside. After all, Hana has noticed a relation between this library and that blue bastard's crew. So information should go both ways."

*looks like he's just readying counterdice now, if you want you can finish things up?*

"...Argalia and his ensemble?"

Locke didn't really like that group- they kept getting way too close for comfort. Wherever they looked, they always seemed to be showing their faces or even just be mentioned by a fixer.

And Hana association- that didn't bode well.

"...I-I see..." Locke held onto their baton-

Purple was on the blade again.

"...It does explain a bit, so- thank you for that-!" The patron gave a slight smile before readying their weapon. "I won't keep you much longer, then-"

And with the slash did the purple glow even brighter than before.

Army's color changes from pink to grey depending on how he's feeling! If he's grey you should. Probably run.

I actually didn't realize how much Firebird looked like Chuuya from BSD until after I finished. I actually intended on making him look like an archer, but couldn't find any inspiration that spoke to me. Also yes, his hair is v warm to the touch.

File's already been seen around here, but their asymmetrical hair is a stylistic design choice bc I wanted an OC with that kinda hairstyle

Locke's obv been shown a lot but their design changes here and there- I like long coats and so they get a long coat.

Grave's outfit is meant to be folded in the style of the deceased, but if I should change this do let me know ><

Void's eyes do blink- I had her inspo be Moa from Show by Rock, but with the personality of Rachel from Blazblue combined to how I see Ishmael from the upcoming Limbus game--

Schadenfreude's design was the easiest to do ngl- He does not wish to be perceived

The Other Abnormalities - Literature

Training team's old headquarters... what was once a team focused on ensuring we all were on the same page with abnormality care-taking and suppression now turned into a place full of the city's books both fiction and not fiction.

Hod's truly nice, but the abnormalities upon her floor... well, I suppose in a way they do fit someone like her.

Some of them, at least.

Today's Shy Look, or simply just called Shy, has always been living up to her name. From what I heard, she's still the same as ever which... well, that's not very encouraging- regardless, it's very hard for me to so much talk to her. I guess that's fine, considering her mask changes a lot and- well, I'd rather not risk seeing that angry face. It's a game of chance... I do wish to chat with her, though. Hod says she's rather sweet...

Red Shoes, on the other hand... I really do not like them. They're a set of twins with the left shoe being male and the right shoe as female. They're attention seeking and gruesome... Whenever I hear the familiar click of hears combined with the scent of metal, I... I already know who's coming. They act like they help the other librarians, but it always ends up into the same old trying to pry them off of an innocent person...

Then we have Spider Bud, who's arguably the mother figure of this floor. She always has her spiderlings following her... either as humans or just as their spider forms. We have to be careful not to squash them... They're adorable kids when they're not crawling on the walls and such... Hod tells us to treat spiders how we want to be treated, but that's very hard when one's hanging in front of you... ne-needless to say, while I can admire her protective nature for her kids... Spider Bud does get scary when we so much touch them.

Speaking of kids, Laetitia is around on this floor too. She seems a lot happier than before bow that she can run around rather than be locked up in a room. She always carries around her gifts, though... I-I feel bad turning them down, but I... Really don't want to deal with that. I sometimes see her play with Galaxy Kid or even Punishing Bird which- given the birds' reputation is rather surprising... Laetitia has begun to learn other pranks too which causes me to constantly make sure I lock my bedroom...

And finally... Dream of a Black Swan. The sister of the group acts as the one in charge, of course. She tries to remain as human as possible not to scare her brothers. They actually can appear quite normal until they let their emotions take over. Then... Well, they falter back and wind up creeping everyone out. Much like Spider Bud, the sister protects the brothers all that she can and out of matches... they really do look like a family.

It all makes me miss my own brother... a floor of both innocence and violence... as well as such close familial ties.

"They are alive, but suffered enough damage that they will be staying there for at least another week."

"Thank goodness..."

"...Sir, may I ask why you have Welfare caring for a clerk?"

"Hmm? Why wouldn't I? They're still an employee of the company... Plus, you're their friend too."

"Yes... that's all true, but-"

"Has Damien been giving you guys grief."

"Not at all, sir. However, we do have some people wondering why it is a clerk we're concerned about..."

"It's as I said- they're an employee of L Corp just like all of us here. Locke's no different than you or I in terms of that. All that separates us is our ranking, but I try not to see that."

"Obviously..."

"If it is too much for Welfare to handle, I can simply just have them be at home-"

"You'd ask off of work just to take care of them, would you not?"

"Perhaps so-"

"...Sir, I must implore you to not treat Locke like this at work."

"I already know they're a clerk of mine, and I treat them as such-"

"Then why don't you call them by their clerk title?"

"I don't call any clerk by that number... I have my reasons not to. I don't want people here to feel like they're just another rat running on the wheel that runs Lobotomy Corporation... I want to keep positive."

"...You've been hanging around the training Head Captain, haven't you."

"Of course- why wouldn't I?"

"...Forgive me for such questions. It was out of line."

"But, do you feel better about being able to tell me the truth?"

"...I must not get comfortable. Damien-"

"Is only a Team Captain. Yes, if he held my role, then he'd have the whole place destroyed..."

"The other leaders can keep him in check-"

"I can hardly keep him in check. They won't be able to... the only reason he's still around is because he's lasted the longest."

"...Which reminds me. That won't be true for very long should he keep up his own antics. His E.G.O. corrosion has made him snap countless times. I must ask you keep him under control for the sake of the branch."

"I do try my best, but... he's not exactly the kind who actually thinks, mind you. Certainly you've noticed."
