re the reblogging art on here discussion esp wrt that poll the thing that honestly mystifies me as a guy that posts art on here is like. I would so much rather have people only reblog something if they really liked it & get a very small but genuine & heartfelt (often with good tags!!) amount of reblogs than to have more people reblogging it but only out of a sense of duty & feeling like they 'should' 'support artists' in some vague & general sense that has no connection to my actual art. like idk the latter just feels so much more depressing to me

this is assuming its on art you normally wouldn't jump to reblog. i myself only rb stuff i really really like so .

The 'rude/demanding' tone would be stuff along the lines of "if you like but don't reblog I'll [threat]" which i see surprisingly often, both serious and more silly

#to be honest. it sinks my interest in reblogging to near zero. many an otherwise good piece of art I haven't reblogged just for doing that #doesn't really matter the tone i just don't like it at all. #<- said as someone who also posts art on here
