We all know Jim. Incompetent and imprudent. Commander Cullen’s headache. After he interrupted Cullen and Lavellan’s first kiss I decided to follow him, just to see what Jim does in his spare time. 

Here’s what I discovered:

Not only does he stay there but he also spies on Cullen and the Inquisitor.

The warden

Spoilers mentioned below, this is just a drabble that popped into my head i havent had the motivation to seriously write it yet, i first want to know people's opinion on it I have an idea for the end of dragon age, the real end. i think it would be cool if the warden found the cure deep down in the deep roads. in my headcannon she would be traveling with zeveran, shale, ogren and would later be joined by morrigan. she finds the cure in a very old section of an ancient thiege. (i wish i could spell) only one warden can enter this section as it is guarded by a spirit, much like the urn of sacred ashes, she enters and says the incantation carved on the wall. then a spike raises and stabs her in the hand her blood activates a glyph on the floor. The spirit says loudly "you cant get something for nothing" and begins to laugh the warden feels the presence of millions of darkspawn, more than ostagar and the final battle combined. She runs to the entrence trying to get to her party when the exit collapses effectively trapping her. The POV would then switch to zev, just because i like him, the spirit has vanished and the party tries moving the rocks but morrigan conferms that there is a powerful barrier trapping the warden inside. After she says that sentece the screaming starts, bloodcurdling sounds they had never heard their leader make before. The screams will last for what feels like days but realistically it was probably only hours. It stops suddenly and then ogren gasps "its gone, the feeling she sodding did it" the taint is cured but at what cost, when the group returns to warden Alistair to tell him of his lover's fate he refuses to believe it. He begs the inquisition for help and they do. A large party goes out with zev leading them to the tiege (is that right?) Once the get to where the wall collapsed morrigan notes that the barrier is still up. Enter Solas (this is post inquisition endgame) who dispels the barrier but urges people to stay back, he enters the room only to find it completly empty with the exception of a lone woman standing in the center of the room. Her once white hair had been turned a black that appeared darker than any theyed ever seen. Once pale skin had become grey and her veins stood out running black through her body she looks at the group her once bright eyes completely black, and she speaks to solas ina voice that sounds like thousands of voices, "the blight could never truly be stopped Mythal you knew that and still sent one of your warriors on this path, the blight could only be contained why qould you open the door and free us, was this woman's sacrafice nothing" everyone is stunned silent tears would begin pouring down Alistair's face upon learning that his love was dead "that is where you are wrong old one" solas would reply, he steps up to the warden and pulls out a ball of light from his chest, morrigan recognizes it as the soul of the old god that flemith took from her child not to long ago. Solas then pulls out another and two more after that, the possessed warden gets a freaked out look in her face "ive been gathering these you see, you would spread your taint corrupting the old gods one at a rime because realistically you knew you couldnt hanld more than that. Now her old one i've gathered 4 total souls my dear dread wolf included and with my own soul i have 5" flemith would grab the warden and shove the 4 souls she was holding into the possessed woman's chest. Then mythal/solas looked back at morrigan, im sorry girl mythal then kisses the warden effectively passing the old goddess's soul to the girl. The warden would scream as she begins to glow very brightly he skin woul'd crack much like anders's used to when justice took over, the warden would fall to her knees in pain as she glowed and slowly her hair turned back to it's silvery white color her skin began to gain its old color and when the screams stopped, Alistair would run to his wife's side and hold her listening to her breathing putting his ear to her chest conferming that her heart was beating he would then call to her, her name rolling of his lips as though it was a prayer to the maker. Then her eyes would open the normal blue they usually were "Alistair, we are free"
