So tumblr staff didn't just delete 1 blog of Med's without warning (fairuzfan), they deleted 2. The first blog was helpgazachildren, which was Med's blog to campaign for donation drives for Hussam who distributes basic necessities on the ground in Ghazzah. They have consistently shown proof of acquisition and distribution of goods as results for every donation drive. There is no reason to kill this blog other than to kill the Palestinian children and adults alike that rely on it for survival. Make no mistake, the actions of this company, Tumblr, and its CEO have real life consequences for the people who use it as a lifeline for survival.
That makes up an entire section of the people trying to survive genocide in Ghazzah. And now with both of Med's blogs gone, there is no recourse.
Tumblr is going to be the reason for the death of several Palestinians. And if I'm right in suspecting they're taking my blog down next, this will happen to the groups served by both Mona, and Hussam, and the families who have contacted me through this website and are relying on my fundraising campaigns to get to safety. This is not a minor issue.

It's a year today since I got the keys for my flat! I feel so incredibly lucky to be able to be a homeowner, so I want to mark the occasion by giving to people who are without the safety and comfort a home should provide.
Shop Link
My itch store has digital copies of all my books (for half the price of print copies) including several that are now out of print. It is also the only place to get the special digital versions of my goblin zines, which have loads of art and writing you can't get elsewhere!
I hope you'll consider getting some of my silly little books to help an important cause, this felt like the best way to mark the aniversary of getting a home of my own, as I don't have much money to give hopefully donating my shop income will help boost the difference it makes!

Help a trans couple flee hostile red states
Our city's trans community is going to be receiving a trans lesbian couple fleeing from a state not safe for trans people. Our community is pooling what we can but we could use help providing food and shelter to our sisters while they look for income and a place to rent. Any amount at all would be greatly appreciated. Sharing this post if you can't help financially still helps!

The displaced in Darfur camps again appealed to the international community to help them by sending urgent humanitarian aid, as security and health conditions are worsening and the number op people dying of hunger and thirst is rapidly growing. The Darfur Bar Association (DBA) conference on humanitarian needs in the region will be held in the Kalma camp in South Darfur.
On Wednesday, community leaders in Kalma camp for displaced people near Nyala, capital of South Darfur, sent a new call to the “all humanitarian organisations,” in particular the UN World Food Programme (WFP), asking them to intervene immediately to save the displaced people from starvation.
Residents of El Salam camp in Beleil, southeast of Nyala, reported acute malnutrition among children and the elderly due to the lack of food. They said that most people in the camp resorted to eating locusts and doum palm fruits. “The number of malnutrition cases in the camp grows with 10 people per day,” El Hadi Abdallah told Radio Dabanga from El Salam camp yesterday. “If possible, they are transferred to Kalma camp, where there is at least a bit of health care left.” Adam Ishag, members of the camp’s youth administration said that “each day, a person, often a child, dies of hunger”. He added that “many a time, we cannot move patients to Kalma camp due to the lack of money for their transportation”.

Hundreds of Jewish anti-war demonstrators have been arrested during a Passover seder that doubled as a protest in New York, as they shut down a major thoroughfare to pray for a ceasefire and urge the Senate majority leader, Chuck Schumer, to end US military aid to Israel.
The 300 or so arrests took place on Tuesday night at Grand Army Plaza, on the doorstep of Schumer’s Brooklyn residence, where thousands of mostly Jewish New Yorkers gathered for the seder, a ritual that marked the second night of the holiday celebrated as a festival of freedom by Jews worldwide.
The seder came just before the US Senate resoundingly passed a military package that includes $26bn for Israel.

‼️‼️
If you're having trouble keeping up with what's going on in Palestine because of US news coverage of university protests, here are some articles you can read and a video you can watch:
youtube
While CNN & all the other mainstream media try to paint the university protests as "pro terrorism" (which they're not, they're literally anti-war protests.) Palestinians are being slaughtered by the minute.
Please don't stop speaking about Palestine.

Please help an Iraqi trans woman seek asylum! She is a friend of one of my good friends and I've spoken to her before. Her situation has been very difficult and it has not been easy for her to make this choice to ask for help. Chip in what you are able, she's a great comrade and I really want her to get to safety.

somehow the poor cops who we were told are simply too understaffed and underpaid because of Woke to deal with 'rampant rising crime' have found the strength to beat the shit out of college students across the whole country for peacefully saying "divest from the country killing innocent palestinians in the tens of thousands"

Happy birthday, Ghassan Kanafani! (April 8, 1936)
A famed Palestinian author and revolutionary, Ghassan Kanafani was born in Acre, on the Mediterranean coast. His father was a lawyer opposed to the British occupation of Palestine, and when the Nakba came in 1948, his family was forced into exile. Kanafani’s family settled in Damascus, where he completed his education and became a teacher. At the University of Damascus, he met Palestinian radical George Habash, who became a great political influence on Kanafani, who joined Habash’s Arab Nationalist Movement. In 1967, now a committed Marxist, he joined the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, becoming a key party ideologue and spokesperson. He produced a celebrated body of revolutionary literature and fiction, including Men in the Sun, What’s Left to You, and Return to Haifa. In 1972, Kanafani was assassinated by the Mossad in a car bombing in retaliation for an attack on Lod Airport by the PFLP and Japanese Red Army.
“The Palestinian cause is not a cause for Palestinians alone, but a cause for every revolutionary, wherever he is, as a cause of the exploited and oppressed masses in our era.”
