I hope this is still fine! If you want me to write reader taking away their cuddling priviledges after all just request it again and I'll try to write it someday!

“I’m nowhere clingy!”

You’d have to be either deaf, stupid or oblivious to an unhealthy degree to miss your cuddling privileges being revoked. Furina had not exactly been subtle when openly declaring it after all. And while she may not have mentioned cuddling specifically, not trusting herself to not blush like a little kid at just the mention of it, you felt confident in saying that she had delivered her message well enough for even the most tone-deaf idiot to understand.

And yet, the exact same accusation that you had half-jokingly thrown her way and that she had taken such great offense to, turned the next few days into some of the best entertainment you had experienced in recent memory. Seeing an former Archon act dignified while at the same time having to fight the obvious urge to hug you the moment you were behind closed doors, only to then turn around and act like her embargo on hugging and cuddling was punishing you, was funnier than any comedy a human could possibly ever pen.

“So… about our argument a few days ago.” Furina spoke up the moment you returned to the table with your cooking, forcing you to fight off the grin that was threatening to pop-up on your face.

“So, about our argument a few days ago”, you repeated her words, intentionally ending on a high note to leave her waiting for your next words, only to continue to set up the table in silence.

“Are you- I-” she eventually stuttered out, only to stop herself before she could embarrass herself further. Her cheeks glowing slightly red as she tried to regain her composure.

“Who knows, if you were to apologize for your groundless accusations a few days back right now, I might just forgive you”, Furina graciously offered with closed eyes, avoiding to look at you in the process.

All the better for you, or she might have noticed the wide grin that had finally broken out on your face. For a moment you considered her ‘offer’. Sure, you missed cuddling on the couch as well and weren’t exactly the biggest fan of keeping up these kind of games…. and yet seeing her continue to needlessly die on this hill that so obviously harmed her more than you was very amusing.

“Wow, really? That seems very nice of you”, you mused with a smile while filling her plate with a portion before doing the same for yours and sitting down opposite of her. “Bon Appetit!”

“Oh come on. Stop being so stubborn! I’ve even given you such a good opportunity to apologize!” Furina's dignified act crumbled right before your eyes as she started to sound more and more desperate. You could practically hear her begging you to be the bigger person, and yet being small felt surprisingly great.

And yet you eventually- FINALLY gave in, much to the relief of the person sitting in front of you. “I am so sorry for calling you clingy Furina. I now see that I was clearly in the wrong and the one actually fitting the description of ‘clingy’ was in fact me”, your apology came out with a… healthy amount of sarcasm, and yet it was more than enough for her.

“...I’ll forgive you. Since you were nice enough to cook for me today”, she declared.

“I know I might be overplaying my hand here, but would you be so kind as to indulge me in a bit of cuddling later on? I’ve simply had to go on without it for far too long.”

“YES- Sure”, Furina immediately jumped at your offer before quickly switching back to her usual act, a wide smile plastered on her face nonetheless as she looked down at the food in front of her.

“It looks delicious, bon appetit!”

While the two of you seemed to have quickly moved past your argument, spending time together as if nothing had happened and avoiding to even mention the subject again, it quickly dawned on you that while you had hoped this to be one of those arguments noone had to explicitly apologize for and that was simply forgotten the next day, the other party involved seemingly was of a different opinion.

Not that Nilou said anything, she greeted you with the same sweet smile before chatting and going on small walks through the bazaar with you in the same manner as on any day of the week. And yet, whenever you as much as tried to initiate any kind of physical contact, no matter if hand-holding or hugging and cuddling, she’d dodge as easily as she breathed. At first it seemed like nothing but a coincidence, but after the dozenth time even you realized something was wrong.

What followed was a days-long standoff. Both of you trying to make the other one crack before yourself, while retaining your sweet and unbothered facade, and while there were moments where you could have sworn to nearly see Nilou instinctively grab your hand, she always managed to stop herself before anything happened.

And while you certainly could have continued with the act for weeks to come, you eventually decided to be the bigger person. For the sake of putting this childish game of chicken behind, of course. And for no other reasons.

“Sure Nilou. You win”, you disrupted the silence that existed between the two of you while Nilou was in the process of adjusting her stage, her movement grinding to a halt as she began staring at you in confusion.

“I wasn’t aware we were playing something. Did you have fun?”

‘Not aware’ your a- 

“Mhm, I am sorry about the argument”, you cut off your thoughts, immediately earning yourself a tilt of her head. After all this time you knew her clueless act to be nothing but an act and yet, when she looked at you like this you nearly found yourself doubting it all over again.

“Oh that? That was a whole week ago, did it still bother you all this time?”, she asked before finally finishing putting down the pot of flowers, quickly making her way down from the stage to join you and shooting you a sweet smile. “Don’t worry, I forgive you. I also didn’t mean everything I’ve said.”

If Nilou hadn’t suddenly grabbed your hand and started pulling you along her daily routine, you might have almost rolled your eyes, instead you found yourself thanking Lesser Lord Kusanali that you were indeed correct about your theory.

Headcanons for how Shenhe would be toward her s/o without her ropes suppressing her emotions?

(Genshin Impact) Shenhe being with S/O without her ropes

Your pelvis would probably WILL be reduced to atoms.

Due to the ropes, a lot of the violent tendencies Shenhe possessed was thankfully quelled.

However, this also caused many of the emotions a human would normally feel to become almost nonexistent.

And it seemed like it would remain that way, until she met the Traveler and her S/O.

Emotions she thought long gone stirred within her, happiness, love.

Such emotions were enough to quell the darkness inside her, so to speak.

Shenhe is meant to keep on the red ropes at all times for her safety, as well as everyone else's.

But they accidentally came off when S/O was tending to her wounds...

S/O immediately noticed a change in Shenhe's expression.

It was as if something ignited deep within her as her eyes widened.

(S/O) "Shenhe, are you okay?!"

She took a moment to glance down at herself, realizing the ropes were off.

As much as her mind roared at her to immediately put it back on, S/O's face was the first thing she saw.

And so, she followed her first instinct.

With an embrace stronger than anything S/O had ever felt, they were taken into her arms and felt something in their bones shift.

(S/O) "UWAGH!? S-SHENHE!"

Instead of saying anything, Shenhe kissed S/O with that same strength, a hair away from accidentally just headbutting them.

But despite the fast pace that was happening, it was Shenhe's smile that made S/O the most shocked.

Not a faint or subtle one, Shenhe was smiling the widest they had ever seen.

(Shenhe) "For this brief moment, S/O, I...-I want to return your love."

Her voice was slightly trembling as her mind struggled to keep up with everything she was feeling.

But she knew in this very instant, she wanted S/O.

The feeling was always there, but now, she could truly show them how much they mean to her.

S/O tried to return her affection as strongly as they could, which and at least physically, couldn't hope to match her.

With no threats around them, and more importantly, only S/O, Shenhe, for this brief moment, could let out all her feelings, without threat of hurting anyone.

At least, not intentionally.

S/O would not be able to walk for the next week, leading to a very stern scolding from Cloud Retainer.

(Paimon) "Oh, look! it's Shenhe and...S/O?! Are they hurt?!"

Aether and Paimon rushed to the two, with Shenhe carrying S/O in her arms to the Harbor.

(S/O) "Traveler! Paimon!"

(Shenhe) "Hello, it is good to see you."

(Aether) "Did something happen, why are you wrapped in bandages?!"

(S/O) "A-Ah...! Um-"

(Shenhe) "The fault is mine, the ropes inhibiting my emotions were taken off for a single moment."

(Paimon) "That's terrible! Well, I mean, at least S/O knows you didn't mean it! We know you're a good person!"

Aether noticed how red S/O's face became, their hands moving to cover their face.

And most telling of all, was the faintest, slightest blush that was on Shenhe as well.

And the realization finally set in.

(Aether) "...Oh."

(Paimon) "W-What? Why did everyone get so quiet for?"

(Aether) "It's...not something we should discuss out loud."

(Paimon) "Oh, right! We are in the harbor. Sorry, Shenhe! We'll keep your secret!"

(Shenhe) "Thank you, both of you. Our business is our own, after all."

(Paimon) "Yeah!...Wait, what?"

I don't plan on pulling for her because Clorinde is showing up, but FEAR NOT ANON! Quoth the FFXIV:

Arlecchino watches with vague amusement as S/O suddenly leaps back, nearly into her arms.

She catches them with minimal effort as her eyes slowly track tiny movement on the floor.

A spider was skittering across the floor at a slow pace, making her gaze trail back to S/O.

(Arlecchino) "Spiders are not very likely to attack humans without being provoked. And even then, that is under the most dire of circumstances-"

(S/O) "I-I know, but...they're just creepy!"

(Arlecchino) "Indeed."

With a hum of acknowledgement, she almost drops S/O to the ground as they barely caught themselves in time.

Arlecchino walks over to the spider and gently puts it in a cup before releasing it outside.

She crosses her arms as distant memories from her past came trickling in.

(Arlecchino) "You wouldn't have liked Bambi."

(S/O) "Who's that?"

(Arlecchino) "A pet spider that I once owned."

(S/O) Of course you owned one...

They were smart enough to not say that out loud, but Arlecchino had the faintest hint of a smile on her lips.

She probably knew what they were thinking anyway.

Even when she was spacing out, Lynette could easily spot something moving in the corner of her eye.

(Lynette) "Oh, a spider-"

(S/O) "WHAT?!"

S/O immediately balled up onto the couch, head rapidly darting back and forth.

(S/O) "W-WHERE?!"

Lynette's ears twitched from how loud S/O was being, but she easily grabbed the spider in a cup, noting how S/O was inching away from her.

(Lynette) "It's not even a dangerous kind, just a regular-"

(S/O) "I don't care what it is, just throw it out!"

Lynette smiled and gently let it escape out the house.

As she sat back down next to S/O, her tail swished playfully, though Lynette herself was stoic as ever.

(Lynette) "What are you going to do when i'm not here?"

(S/O) "D-Don't tease me!"

Xianyun adjusts her glasses when she sees a spider on the table.

S/O almost dropped their food completely at the sight of it, while Xianyun looked slightly annoyed.

(Xianyun) "How unsightly for a dinner table."

With a small gust of wind, she flicks it away, making S/O leap out their seat.

(S/O) "GAH! D-Don't fling it at me!"

(Xianyun) "One was not aiming at you, dear. Do be careful, otherwise your plate will drop."

S/O took a deep breath of relief while Xianyun continued to eat.

(Xianyun) "Hm...One has an idea for an invention. We could construct you a machine that can take care of household pests like that."

(S/O) "...W-Would you?"

Xianyun suddenly beams with pride, a gleam of light reflecting off her glasses.

(Xianyun) "Fear not, One will make sure you are never bothered by a spider ever again! We will get started straight away after dinner."

What ended up happening was Xianyun constructed a machine that was too good at killing household pests, to the point it broke parts of the wall.

Both Barbara and S/O yelp when they see a spider speed along the tiles of the Cathedral.

(S/O) "Aw man, it's going up to the ceiling!"

(Barbara) "I-It's not going to drop on our heads, is it?!"

The two exchanged a look that said neither were wanting to find out the answer.

Accepting defeat, the two quickly exited the cathedral out onto the plaza.

(S/O) "Do you think we could ask one of the sisters to help us?"

(Barbara) "U-Um...well-"

It didn't take long for either of them to realize that it'd be absolutely mortifying to ask a sister for something so trivial.

Instead, they decided to practice their singing outside.

Which arguably, was worse since spiders could be anywhere, but it didn't seem to cross their minds as they slowly became comfortable again and laughed the situation off.

Until the next day they forgot about it and entered the cathedral, only to be jumpscared by it as it sat on the pews they were at.

Chiori, Chiori! Chiori army grows!

Anyhow, Chiori with a s/o who just can't keep their clothes in good condition. They're just out adventuring, a lot which caused their clothes to get messed up.

(Genshin Impact) Chiori's S/O being unable to keep their clothes clean

You should honestly see my clothes whenever I get to painting my minis. My elbows are covered in paint, not even mentioning my hands.

Chiori is going to do violence to S/O.

She works hard to keep her own clothes in relatively clean condition.

Sure, Fontaine had plenty of helpful technology to help wash and dry clothes, but that didn't mean she went frolicking in the mud on purpose.

So, Chiori is very frustrated with S/O waltzing into their home, covered in dirt, torn rags, and Archons know what else.

She pinches the bridge of her nose as a loud sigh exits her mouth.

(Chiori) "Seriously? I just stitched that shirt last week."

(S/O) "Hah...uh, sorry."

Chiori teaches S/O how to take care of their own clothes so she doesn't have to fix it every single damn time.

After a certain point, she doesn't even cringe at the state of their clothing anymore.

She's honestly amazed they haven't just waltzed in half-naked at this point.

Hearing the bell ring on her doors, she spares S/O a single glance before going back to cutting the cloth with her swords.

(Chiori) "Shirt or pants ruined?"

(S/O) "Not even a hello first, cHIORI?"

(Chiori) "Hello, S/O. There, now what part am I fixing?"

(S/O) "...The shirt...-"

(Chiori) "I must be psychic. Take a seat over there, I'll get to you eventually."

Just because S/O is their boyfriend/girlfriend, does not mean they get any special treatment.

Nothing explict, but always will put a warning just in case.

Hu Tao doesn't usually like to stay put, but when it's for cuddling? She can stand to remain in place for a little while.

She either puts her head on their lap talking about whatever, or rests on their shoulders.

Hu Tao doesn't particularly care who's big or little spoon, just as long as they're comfortable!

But, it looked like S/O was getting a bit too comfortable while they were sitting on the couch.

Her eyes widen slightly when she feels their hand creeping below her waist.

This certainly beats sitting around doing nothing.

Furina's body completely relaxes whenever she's cuddling onto S/O.

She prefers to be the little spoon or held in some form or fashion.

Sitting on their lap, she is either on the verge of falling asleep or eating some kind of sweets.

Furina would have the chance to do neither when she feels S/O's hands brush along her stomach, then underneath her shirt.

She involuntarily lets out a gasp before her heartrate accelerates.

(Furina) "S-S/O...?!"

While she's surprised, she doesn't move to shove their hands off, instead making herself more comfortable as she buries her head into their neck, too embarrassed to even look.

(Furina) "...Can...we take it slow?"

Furina melts at their touch as her breathing gets heavier, feeling safe in their embrace.

At least in private, Sara doesn't mind cuddling.

With her usual responsibilities, it was actually a welcome change of pace.

To just sit down with someone she loved and have no obligations other than destressing, it was something she wasn't used to yet, but could see herself growing to love.

At least, until S/O hands begin caressing her thighs.

Sara's body immediately stiffens before silently glaring at S/O.

It'd be more menacing if her face wasn't rapidly heating up.

After a few more seconds of feeling their fingers tracing the top of her legs, she simply sighs and grabs their arm.

Although she is blushing madly, she gently kisses the top of their fingers before letting their hand rest on her legs again, all the while still holding onto them.

(Sara) "Don't get too greedy, S/O...But, you have my permission."
