Family ‘s Day Out💕 After last year’s downfall, it’s the first time that we are together again as a family. Complete (how blessed). It was supposed to be last year. My siblings went home for a family reunion but it was cancelled because of a vehicular accident. I couldn’t imagine how we survived that. Even I as a nurse knew that my brother was hopeless. The doctor said that he only had 10% chance to survive. I know! GCS 4-5, fixed dilated pupils. And I who should be emotionally strong because I handle critically ill patients everyday, could not compose myself. I cried more than anyone else in the family. I cried a lot because I know worst could happen to him. I prayed to God like I never prayed before. Prayer is my only weapon. I bargained. I stayed in the chapel for hours. I left work. I was the one who make clinical decisions. And it wasn’t easy (I know medical professionals could relate). I pray to God to guide me in every decisions that I make. And I knew God never leave our side. We united as a family. Someone is looking for blood donors. Someone is buying medicines and paying lab bills. Someone is looking for finances. And I was the one making decisions. We became closer to each other and to God. And yes! We made it! We survived because we faced our problem with faith in God. Thank you Lord. DIY Budget Trip to Boracay by Ztarriray

Whenever life sucks, beach is always my happy place❤️💕 I thought going to Boracay can be costly but I was wrong. You too. I know many Ilonggo haven’t step a foot yet in the most beautiful Island in the Philippines because they think that it is expensive. Well, here’s how much it cost me.

P120 Iloilo-Antique🚗 (I choose Antique route because I fetched a friend who invited me to go to Bora. It’s her annual vacation. Yey! Hi Mareng @cenzdianne )

P200 Antique-Caticlan🚌 (we left @5 in the morning to arrive early in the Island and have some time to relax before we hit the beach)

P200 Caticlan Port-Boracay Port ⛴ (Well the amount is for the Environmental Fee+Terminal Fee+Ferry already. Oh, before I forget frenny, they check your hotel booking and valid ID before you enter the terminal so you have to book before you travel.)

P1300 Accomodation 🏠 (1 room for 2 people for 1 night. We booked via @agoda. They have lots of good deals that can fit in your budget)

P100 Terminal Fee (Boracay)

P25 Ferry Fare🧾 to Caticlan Port

P350 Caticlan -Tagbak Terminal

Note: I terms of food, there are many fast food chain in Boracay. It is the same price in the City. In our case, we have free lunch at astoria for their hotel promotion.🍹🍸🍨🍡🍢 So mga frennies, what are you waiting for? Feel the Boracay white sand in your feet this summer!
