Tbh I just don't find LiS 2 that engaging. It's like instead of a game where you add stuff up to come to conclusions, you're just waiting around for bad shit to happen indefinitely. (Edit: I realize this kind of doesn't make sense because they have very different plots but...maybe I'll find a way to say it and it makes sense sometime) Also the choices are so...aaaa. It's like the ones you think matter don't matter and vice versa. And I have a hard time telling which way a choice will make Daniel act? Also it's frustrating when you try to teach Daniel how to act and keep him safe but then the game makes you do stupid shit like go completely out of the house to pick up a Christmas tree in plain ass public?? Talking to people?? Telling them who you're with and why?? What's even the point? (Breaking in to Karens room was another example of this) It also seems like it doesn't have that many highs and calms to compensate for the lows. Which I mean...i guess it could be because that's not really possible for this story but ouch. Like it was nifty when they got to stay at their grandparents, but it was still like...Claire is hiding something, accusatory, nit picky, etc.
