it's interesting (and cute) to see how people love doing new things, really look forward to the next opportunity to try something different, experiment. really touched me when the day i came home, bro finally opened his teajava so that we could drink it together as a family. yesterday he told me to make brownies out of the blue, so i did. we're now trying to get into the habit of working out every morning, something he hasn't done in months. thoughts of new recipe ideas for dinner keep continually coming up in conversation, partially because i said i want to learn to cook more, but also to get excited, just because. he asked me today when i was going to make pancakes i was talking about. i replied that there were still brownies left from yesterday, silly.

what is it about humans that make us so happy, so eager to delve into the new? is it because of the challenge, to test ourselves the extent of how much we can accomplish, take pride and fulfillment in? Or is it to break out of the habits we have so accustomed ourselves to that we are simply tired of following the same dull routine? Or is it to feel the thrill of exploring the unknown, looking for places, activities, foods that will spark that familiar sense of happiness upon discovering the little blessings life--God--has yet to offer, if you just take a minute to reach out and grasp it.

It's funny how God can make anything, that at first seems so impossibly hard and unbearable and painful, suddenly so easy and enjoyable :) I love You!!! hehe ^^ quickly plowing over the last of my three eng final papers with the carefree ease of knowing that summer is almost upon me AHHHHHHH
