one moment, she’s just chilling on the balcony of her uncles’ penthouse, and the next, there’s stone flying in her direction. out of instinct, leah raises a book to protect her face. she’s already LOST one eye; the last thing she needs is to lose another. especially to-- well, definitely not a DRAGON or MUTANT TURTLE, so that narrows the list of suspects.

“hey, yo, man, no problem. i’ve definitely taken worse scares in just the past week.” the woman takes a moment to dust her dress free of any debris. “you a’ight, though? ‘cause, uh, that was a lot of shit that just came flying at my face.”
