I want my friends to have a good unbiased experience of watching dunmeshi for the first time which means. I have to keep my mouth shut about what I think about Senshi and Chilchuck because once I start ranting why I love them I will start a) throwing spoilers b) getting into the subtexts and my own interpretations of things and characters and everything, and I want them to experience the show WITHOUT my own comments getting in the way

but GOD it's so hard to keep my mouth shut and not say anything when I'm seeing so many fantastic fanarts and thinking how warm and soft and nice these two are and could be

My favorite thing about Farcille is that they're old friends who clearly love each other want to be together forever, no matter what that looks like.

Chilshi is great because you have two middle-aged people who have lived very different lives come together over the shared joy of protecting others, but also having someone finally protect them in ways they're hardly ready for.

Labru is great because they're both freaks on opposite ends of the spectrum and have only heard of "normal" at the end of a very long tube of madness and obsession.

Dungeon Meshi episode 18 spoilers under the cut (chilshi mentioned)

SJDJDJDJ the way I immediately knew the Suspiciously Handsome Senshi (not my opinion, the show's) was Chilchuck's creation. And him immediately defending him with "Seems fine to me" yeah buddy we get it.

Really fun episode loved it, presents more focus onto details of their personalities and how they view each other in a really fun way

Also obsessed how sometimes they're editing it like a 2015 "funny moments" compilation, the way this frame of Laios stayed for a few seconds absolutely killed me jsjssjsj

I read both of your pureshadow-related works ("Clamour" and "Take a Bow") and can confirm, the dynamic is so so so fantastic. I'm tuckered out after a long day rn so forgive me if I can't find the right words, but I remember I read them in class and had to pause and cover my mouth because of just how *perfect* the characterisation was
