logging on to say isayama is sick and twisted for the way he handled ymir fritz' story like truly sick in the head. being away from the AOT fandom has only strengthened my opinion that him paralleling ymir and king fritz' relationship to EM was the downfall of the entire endgame arc.

you're telling me ymir fell in love with her rapist and that mikasa falling in love with eren reminded her of that love and made her want to "save" the world.......?

so weird like genuinely #notmyymir. imagine writing the story of a woman who was hated and abandoned by everyone she knew, treated like a baby machine AND a war machine, and then left to die as her husband's last words are essentially "you will always be my slave"..... and then turning around and saying well actually 🤓👆 she loved him the entire time.

absolutely not, ymir hated that man, and chose to die so she could be away from him. i will die on this hill. ymir get behind me.
