In the last few hours Lynne had died multiple times, learned about the existence of ghosts, had to face the reality she had shot and killed a man—only to not have, desperately tried to save her hero and the father of her ward, found out her ward of five years, her sister in all but blood, had been kidnapped and killed at least once, been sucker punched by the ridiculous reason Jowd had confessed to a crime he didn’t do, stand face to face with her mentor's broken, bleeding form, and now was rushing off to try and save Kamila.

So yes, she was a mess, terrified, exhausted, and most of all, angry.

And Jowd, being the suicidal man he was, just had to point it out.

Or,

someone needed to yell at Jowd for everything he did, the time between them rushing off to save Kamila and Jowd calling Sissel was a perfect time, and Lynne deserved to have a breakdown, as a treat.

Agreed. Plus she had no idea he was Reaper 2.0, she would assume he was the real reaper.

Not to mention, ultimately, it was a class of kids versus saving the whole world…like Karasuma was a huge hypocrite making the carefree choice by choosing the kids over the world there. Which honestly may be why he's willing to forgive her.

Heck, you can't tell me she missed Karasuma accidently at that range. She hesitated. She was just being nasty and detached to spare her feelings.

I think people are too harsh at Irina Jelavic for betraying the 3-E kids to the Reaper, 2.0, Shinigami, God of Death, killed Lovro and (almost) killed Red-Eye, World’s Best Assassin. 

Like, was she supposed to say no? “No, I can’t help you kill a bunch of 14 year olds, let me walk off unscathed like I am refusing a regular business offer from a regular person, thank you?” Say No to Reaper, 2.0, Shinigami, God of Death, World’s Best Assassin???

I don't care how cruel mage society is as a default -- no child should ever have to suffer being poisoned regularly.

There is a point - it's slipping my mind WHERE she says this - she brings up how she was once successfully poisoned when much younger and "drifted the boundary between life and death for a week". She is only a child. She may not be the nicest child, but she is still a child and should not have the responsibility of an entire Lordship of the Mage's Association thrust on her shoulders, let alone suffering through assassination attempts.

Like I said before, this all began when she was 6. She is 15 now, in her current incarnation from the Case Files universe set in 2003 (which is where Waver and Gray are from -- we don't know if the Luvia is from her F/HA incarnation or her Case Files incarnation).

Still, she tells us not to mope about her, and says she likes seeing people squirm. I'm sure for her, who has had her life out of her control since she was 6, making people squirm is a way for her to exercise a little power over them. Getting an edge up on people must be great considering how she's been raised to be a Lord since she was starting school.

By the way, Waver doesn't call it his "flat". He calls it his apartment, because being reminded of Flat gives him a stomach ache. (That being said, it's not like Flat doesn't come over to play videogames. He's basically his son, after all.)

We can establish that we're evidently a little fucked up by a few things - one, our loss of memories, two, Reines calling herself "Lord El Melloi II", and three, us going back to her apartment rather than her mansion that she lives in. I mean, she is a Lord via actual inheritance, after all?

Agreed, fucked up, and if anything, has a really low opinion of herself "Her disaster personality" as it were, when in really she is nowhere as cruel, at least to the people she considers her own, than she thinks she is. She may not be that nice, but honestly, she's kinder than she thinks.

Like, spoilers for the Light novels (And Fgo's Lady Reines Casefiles arc),

her concern over Gray's interests in Plastic surgery and wanting to introduce her to cosmetics to help despite only knowing her for a month or two and supposedly enjoying seeing people suffer.

Or when she left Trimmau in Gray's village to keep an eye on her brother, which yes was nosiness, but was also to keep him alive (and in debt, because if he's in debt he can't leave after all).

or how she interacts with Flat and Svin (Especially Svin having called her princess as kids) and how they technically grew up with each other,

Or spending all her energy to Touko Travel to the Train, despite the fact the entire initials situation was not for the good of the Family but to get Waver's anchor to Iskander back, completely draining herself.

or the fact after Waver finds out what Heartless is up to and has a major Breakdown she lets him be despite all the work that she now has to do alone, and barely snarks at him when he gains his wits, letting him call the shots despite it again risking herself to a level.

Or her interaction with Olga Marie.

Or how she admits she would have broken down at Waver's death if you weren't with her in her story line in FGO, That he likely would have just stared at him until she was killed herself, or her anger about wanting to get revenge on the person who killed him.

Or heck, even her not trying to stop Waver from entering the 5th holy grail war, despite the fact there is no way he'd be able to fulfil his promises before then.

She's a very complicated character, and I really love her for it.

i think there’s a common misconception that reines is tsundere, but that’s not true. tsundere implies that she harshly denies the things and people she likes when asked/confronted about it. but reines doesnt do that. she is in fact VERY open about her likes, both things and people.

“but reines always hides from waver the fact that she actually really loves him!” no she doesnt! she’s actually very affectionate towards him. it’s just that her love language is bullying. what she actually hides from him is her weaknesses or appearing weak which is more a safety precaution (established due to past trauma) rather than a tsundere thing

tldr: reines isn’t tsundere, she’s just fucked up

Waver's crest is pretty much an empty vessel not much different than the original branch crest that his grandmother got from a mage (who we don't know who was, the velvet family is a branch family of someone, which is interesting) So it probably almost as possible as making a new branch family to begin with is. So it's very cute and could happen, based on setting rules.

But,

Gray already has a magic crest (or part of one anyway, Bersac still has part of it) The Blackmore crest (Which is proof you don't need to be family if the crest is simple enough, as Gray isn't related to the Blackmores and it seems that the next in line is often not directly related), which is what allows her to use Add, so I don't know if she could ever have two, even if Waver's is empty and doesn't really bring any benefits to this generation (Nor do I really see Gray having blood children, to worried about her curse being passed down even if it's broken on herself).

(I've actually had an idea of Waver, since he has no plans of having any blood children, passing it down to a second child of Reines to help boaster the house even just a bit, and if you just so happens to ship Reines and Gray would make it him passing it down to a odd mic of Nibling/Grandchild, which is fun.)
