The small droid made a tiny spin “Do you think it’s best to put the frog back in its home?” BB-8 asked before it gave out a few more beeps “Yes, this way!” The droid then began to roll away towards the pond BB-8 found earlier.

“Really?” BB-8 moved its dome head before rolling back at bit from Rey’s next question.

Yes. The droid was near a pond and it remembered how Poe and Rey don’t like it when it was near water. A small low beep was made “I was near a pond, yes.. I didn’t roll over it though!”

Rey sat next to BB-8 and typed a little into the datapad to see what sort of frog it was. “Yes, you’re both orange.” She giggled as she watched the little frog stuck to BB-8′s head dome. “That’s okay, as long as you were careful, can you show me where the pond is?”

The droid beeped happy beeps as Poe agreed with it.

Carefully the droid puts back its taster and rolls away slightly to give Poe some space to move to throw away his trash. “What? Why not? I don’t do anything sneaky.. besides not everyone knows binary like you do.” BB let out a couple beeps “Do you fancy someone?”

“What? No..” the droid beeped and gave him a roll before staying still.

“But I want a good mama.. one that loves me too, just as you love me.” The droid wanted someone good for Poe- he’s a good person, warm hearted and someone needed to equal that as well.

BB didn’t like maintenance, it’s the equivalent of people being there n the hospital- of some sort but nonetheless the droid gave a long beep to mimic a sigh “Okay, let’s do maintenance.” She droid soon rolled over to one of the mechanic tables and turned to wait for Poe “You should probably marry a mechanic. They’ll always help out with.. mechanic stuff.” The droid suggested.

BB rolled its head “Two weeks.. but we’re weren’t on base so I didn’t bring it up.” The droid admits before it rolled around “My last back up was a month ago.. we were busy remember?” The droid beeped before nudging his leg “Your food will get cold, we can talk about my maintenance later.”

BB loves going to the hanger- loves to look at other mechanics workings, he especially loves talking to other astromechs. “So drills today?” The droid asked Poe.

BB watched Poe take a long sip of the caf- to it’s knowledge, caf is sort like a fuel for people.

The droid made a small series of beeps, almost as if it was chuckling “I think you’re not the only one who enjoy the sandwich.” In fact everyone in the mess hall were enjoying a new change of breakfast. “Oh.. and I think my taser part is a little stiff.. maybe some oil is due?”

BB stays right there, enjoying the little scratches even though it can’t feel it. “It is a clam morning..” there’s a soft beep before moving it’s dome up to look at Poe.

BB made a low beep, almost like a small whine “You’re right, I’m sorry.” The little droid rolled closer to Poe only to nudge its little head to Poe’s leg as a ‘I’m sorry gesture’ but nonetheless it’s happy nature return after a few moments.

“Does the egg sandwich tastes good?” BB wondered.

Is droids could smirk- BB would have done it by now “I have it on hologram.” The droid admits “Never seen you so.. green looking.” The droid teased before rolling back and forth “Hurry Poe, you only have ten minutes to eat.” Once more BB was back to its caring self.

Even tho BB can’t physically feel the small rub on top of its head- the bond with Poe grew. It always does whenever Poe and BB created memories together. Poe in many ways- is sorta like a dad to the droid, always with the pilot, never apart.

“This time I’ll make sure not to be close to her.” BB beeped.

The droid didn’t have to wait much longer for Poe, in fact it did a little happy roll when BB saw a tray full of food. “Remember to eat it all Poe.. wait- maybe not all, last time you almost threw up in that barrel roll you did a while back.”

That was true, BB’s head moved over to look at the shelf- there BB’s antenna collection were on display, each one filled with many memories of adventures with Poe. “Okay. Then maybe we can filled it with more happy memories?” The droid asked with a happy beeps.

“Tsk tsk.. I’m gonna bump Snap’s and Jess’s ankles for slacking.” There’s a sassy beep to the comment as they entered the mess hall “Oh there’s an empty table! I’ll go guard it for you.” Bb beeped and rolled over to the table, it’s little ball body balancing itself as he waited for Poe.

BB move it’s head closer as Poe fixed his antenna “But this is my favorite antenna.” The droid beeped lowly- the antenna have been a gift on one of their many adventures over the galaxy. But nonetheless he agreed with Poe “But I do need one.”

Once the antenna was placed back on its head the little droid rolled around in a happy movement “Oh! Egg sandwich.”

By this time BB had moved to the entrance of their room “I hope it’s Black Squadron.” The droid admits before rolling after Poe when they left their quarters. “Poe, Poe! Don’t forget to eat.” The droid reminded him.

If the droid had eyebrows, there would have been a frown. His antenna was bent again “Poeee, my antenna.” BB rolled over to him, right before he slipped on his boots.

“Hmm.. maybe some of those weird sandwiches with the green stuff.” What was it? Egg sandwich?

“There’s drills to run today! Are we able to do some freestyle flying?” The droid beeped before rolling around.
